    Pretty much...
    Pretty much protected by GB...

  2. Didn't we just suffer through this fiasco recently?
Al Haymon should counter sue Golden Boy for copyright infringement.
Guess he has to steal the blueprint to a megafight.:verysad

Canelo should fight Cotto, then maybe one more fight against a full sized MW(Lemiuex for example), and then on to GGG

As long as GGG continues fighting opponents he's a 200 to 1 favorite against, he will be ignored and rightfully so. Every fighter that became a big name didn't sit down fighting bums like GGG is while calling out bigger names two weight divisions below him. They took risks and even moved up in weight if they had to. Alvarez took the demanded risk in Trout then went on to face the P4P#1 Mayweather. He also fought Lara as soon as the fans demanded him to. GGG is yet to score a single significant win in his division. I'd rather see Cotto vs Alvarez at the full 160 limit.

So who would you rather have GGG fight, that you would consider credible? And what can he do on his part to make said fights happen, seeing as the common consensus is that the entire middleweight division is doing everything possible to avoid fighting him (even vacating belts)?

I'm sick of waiting around let' see Canelo vs. Cotto then GGG he's still young he'll come back if he loses.

The only major difference is Pacman and Mayweather are very close in age range.

Canelo and GGG are 9 years apart in age.

DLH's company has become very small since Haymon bought out the majority of Oscar's fighters. He keeps insulting Haymon and Mayweather and makes mention that they don't want to put the best fights together, and that they avoid putting together action-packed fights.

Him holding off 2 years to put his cashcow in with Gennady pretty much contradicts his disposition about wanting to make the best fights out there.

GGG vs Canelo is probably one of the 10 best matchups you can make in all of boxing. There's no reason it shouldn't go through at some point this fall. Maybe at a CW of 156-158?

I don't think Canelo is going to fare very well as a Middleweight. He won't have any power at 160 and his is a midget. Time will tell but he certainly is not in anyway free to duck the savage punching GGG for 2 years. That is ridiculous.

    :lol::rofl

GGG obliterated the guy that Cotto is fighting next at a freaking catch weight :rofl

Nobody will fight the guy. GGG is Cotto's mandatory. Lets see what happens after the Cotto-Geale fight. If Cotto is paying step aside money so he can fight Canelo then how is that GGG's fault? The Cotto fight should have been this Summer but he whined and cried and is fighting at yet another disgraceful 'catch weight' fight.

It's not a duck IMO. Canelo is not ready and it'd be stupid promotion-wise to feed Canelo to GGG. 2 years is cool with me.

How did the current Lineal MW champion get crowned? How many fights at MW prior?

Canelo has no obligation to fight GGG. Canelo is not campaigning for the MW crown yet. Canelo is cleaning the JRWM division.
