If your really TBE you would have closed the show as opposed to running and dancing in the final round

At no point was Manny in anything close to survival mode. You say this because he was fighting at Floyd's pace? For Pac's version of survival mode see the last 30s of Pac-Margo Round 6... Floyd did not hurt Pac or even stun him.

Manny's low punch output was mostly due to Mayweather's defense which leaves few openings. Perhaps it was even part of Freddie's plan to attempt to encourage Floyd to engage more.

A better question is: Why was Manny afraid of Mayweather and not Marquez?

Exactly. He wasn't. Different opponent, different game plan.

He clearly didnt want to take the risks that come with throwing your hardest biggest shots.

Personally i thought he was guna look to dominate centre rind and try to stop Manny but as good as that prediction looked at the start Floyd just was happy to back to his usual sheet boring (yet still impressive) defensive style of running and counter punching.

Any interview I've heard him give after the Floyd fight, I get the impression that he still thinks highly of Manny. He never speaks badly of him, just his team.

Ariza even said Manny could still give Floyd problems if he changed his team. So I assume the issue is with Roach etc and not Manny?

Ariza is excellent at what he does. However his ego will clash with a lot of people.

I think you are right in that that is what Floyd himself may have wanted to do. The truth is I think Floyd underestimated Manny's defensive capabilities.

I watched the same interview and he seemed genuinely upset with pacs performance. Made me wonder if he was "shady" like roach claims or if he wasnt a yes man

Ariza never actually worked for Roach, he was a private contractor, so it was Pacquiao's decision to get shut of him.
