    You can take apart every fighter's career and do what you just did. The fact is most of PBF's opponents have been title holders or ranked in the top 2 of the division period. You can't fault PBF for being better than everyone else around his weight class. He just took apart the so called fighter of the decade and made him look amateurish. PBF has a great resume and is a top 20 ATG.

    I'm not 13 years old. I don't need to regulate anyone or make childish threads based off of strawman arguments. There are some people on this board who are able to have an actual debate about various aspects of boxing. Unfortunately, there a lot more people only interested in partaking in playground antics.

    Well when you don't really engage and are scared to take chances that happens. He was going to have to do both of those things if he was going to win yet he was too scared to because of getting countered. I find it hard to give him 3 rounds. I have had it 10-2 since fight night. He just seemed like he was trying to make it all 12 rounds. His punch output was abysmal. I think he averaged landing 7.5 punches a round. That is David Haye level disgraceful :lol::rofl

    Why do you seem insecure?

    Well for starters you need to;

    1. LIE to make a point
    2. You are also exaggerating about my thread making... This is my 3rd thread in the last month, and only one has directly been about Mayweather-Pacquiao.
    3. You are attempting to convince us, or yourself that defense is the best boxing attribute and downplay offense.

    Huh? What does one have to do with other? Anyway, I've never seen anyone argue that offense = villiage idiots. That doesn't even make any sense.

    He had a very nice blend of offense and defense all the way up to 140 lbs. He slowed down with his combination punching by the time he moved up to 147.

    So that was around late 2005-early 2006. So he fought a certain way really for the first 10 years (not 6 as you stated) of his career, and the last 9 he's become more defensive and less active offensively.

    He's able to beat everyone these days because of his ring experience, overall boxing IQ, and his offense is still good enough. His punch output isn't where it used to be when he campaigned between 130-140, but he's so accurate with his offense that it's more than enough to help him win fights.

    So if you want to criticize a guy for changing his style by his 10th year as a pro just so it could help extend his career out longevity-wise, than go for it. But it's kind of a silly thread you started about a guy who's closing in on 40 and campaigns in his 4th and 5th weight classes.

    It's amazing how much he has digressed. By the 8th round he already was breathing hard
