After rewatching the fight the shoulder was never an issue in his corner.

Exactly at no point was he really even in the fight. He got a boxing lesson and was made to look one-dimensional.

Sad thing is all they had to do was check the right box. they knew he needed that shot, and you can't rely on the nsac, in his case. Now we have to wait a year to watch pac put up a better fight and lose in a better fashion.

Plus another year of instead of who declined what, and cut off dates that have been flooding thus board for 4 years, it's gonna be shoulder debate and toradol gate, to a lesser extent.

How on earth did Mayweather make it 12 rounds vs Pacquiao with 2 injured arms and 2 injured hands whilst still winning 10-2?

Will you stop it, please!? Fighters fight injured all the time. Broken fists, broken ribs all sorts of stuff. It's not the first time he went in injured, it's just that he (or rather they) used it as a lame excuse for loosing. Like Floyd said, he was injured also. So what?
I'd rather see Manny take position that the scores were too wide and the fight was closer, thinking he was winning and not pressing the action in the 11th and 12th. Therefore wanting a rematch based on that. But this shoulder thing is just stupid and ignorant. And his fans are only making it worse by pointing this out over and over.

Not a Floyd fan, so don't start with the fanboy ****, thank you.

Going back to 2000 I can only give him full credit for Corrales.

    Pacquiao: Six years too late.
Maidana II: Props for taking the rematch and making it easy, but it's still Maidana.
Maidana I: Could be scored either way by 2 rounds. And it's Maidana.
Alvarez: Props for taking the fight, but draining him was unnecessary and Alvarez was totally green. Kind of a Jones-Hopkins I situation, but with draining and massive experience gap.
Guerrero: Terrible fight, terrible opponent choice.
Old Cotto: Poor guy hasn't had a soul since margarito, and Pacquiao beat whatever was left out of him.
Ortiz: Terrible fight, terrible opponent choice.
    Old Mosley: Well past it.
Fat JMM: Coming up 2 weight classes on a p!ss diet without his special Memo juice kind of negates this result.
2yr Retirement when the division was hot: Not a good look.
Hatton: Coming up a weight class where he'd only looked awful against Collazo.
Old Oscar: Semi retired and well past his best. Clearly would have beaten Floyd if he still had any kind of stamina.
    Baldomir: Justifiable, but still B-Level.
Judah: Coming off a loss to Baldomir, and Judah was B-Level
    Mitchell: B-Level
    Gatti: Understandable money-grab B-Level opponent.
    Bruseles: B-Level
    Corley: B-Level
    Ndou: B-Level
    Sosa: B-Level
Castillo II: Props for taking the rematch and dominating, but it's still Castillo.
Castillo I: Credible opponent, not quite A-Level, and Floyd lost.
    Chavez: B-Level
    Hernandez: B-Level
Corrales: Hypejob, drained, not quite A-level...but credible at the time, and a good showing.
    Augustus: B-Level
    Vargas: B-Level

Fights he should get some credit for even though opponents were overrated:
    Corrales
    Castillo II
    Castillo I (clear loss)
Fights he will ultimately get credit for even though opponents were not close to their best:
Oscar (Old, shot, and could have gone either way)
JMM (Two weight class jump on a p!ss diet without his roids)
Mosley (Old, shot, and without his roids)
    Cotto (Damaged and shot)
    Alvarez (Green and drained)
    Pacquiao (Injured and shot)

That's an obvious hall of fame career, but it's far from great when you account for the way he manipulated his opponent selection. The undefeated thing is nice, but not unique. Gonzalez will have that beaten in 2 years. Alvarez is already showing that he wants to fight everybody. Inoue is already doing crazy things. Lomachenko, Thurman, and Crawford have bright futures. GGG, Ward, Rigo, and Kovalev may never be beaten. Wlad has dominated the heavyweight division for years and shows no signs of ever stopping. Hopkins is a modern Archie Moore.

I think Floyd is clearly on another skill level AND he has a unique style which is very memorable (right up there with Pep, SRR, Fitzsimmons, and RJJ). He'll be remembered as a unique type of fighter with a special skillset that people can speculate on forever. But he won't be remembered as a fighter who took on great challenges, great fighters, or pushed the limits of what people thought was possible. And the fact is that if he fought all those guys on his resume at their absolute peak, he may have beaten them all anyway. But that's the problem...he didn't.

He was desperately trying to get a payday vs Kell Brook and will do anything for money.

Pac never hurt Money but he woke him up. Money had the bigger more devastating shots in the fight and Pac was nowhere close to a win.. I scored it 120 - 111...

more like a defensive running and throwing 1 punch at a time lesson. i just can't stand the fact that mayweather opponents leave their fights looking like they went for a 5 mile run in the park. the first minute of the canelo vs kirkland fight was more entertaining than 12 rounds of a mayweather fight.
