Watching someone Knock out Floyd Tyson style or Watching Floyd Bank rupt will give me unparralled happiness, great fighter, definately right up there with the best of the best but an absolute pathetic person and excuse of a human being.

Pacman might not be the best ever but he has taken part in some Brutal wars, avenged his losses, maintained a remarkable likeable personality, done more things outside of the boxing and will one day serve his people as the President of the Philipines.

No one is going to even remember or care about Floyd 10-15 years down the line. Pac will be remembered and revered for the excitement he provided to Boxing just like Mike Tyson.

Fans ultimately watch this sport to get their money's worth.

 

i am just wondering why floyd met pac at his apartment during negotiations after their meeting engagement at the basketball game? what would they have to talk about when they have their managers and promoters to negotiate like all their previous fights. then the fight was very sloppy with a lot of excuses making the floyd win with asterisk which created a demand for rematch. tsk tsk tsk

 

Manny Pacquaio made a decision.

Choice #1: He could call off the fight ... enrage everyone ... force the promoters to file insurance claims to try to recoup money already spent ... enrage the heads of the networks televising the fight ... have surgery ... not fight for a year ... try to make a comeback in late 2016 ... and maybe never fight Mayweather.

Choice #2: Or, he could make $140 MILLION ... make sure everyone else involved in the event collected their money too ... have surgery ... tell the world what happened ... and retire with more money than 99% of the people on this planet ever earn or see/or come back in late 2016 for a rematch and another pile of money.

Most people would enter the ring for $140 million ... no matter what was wrong with them. And he might even end up with more money than that when all is said and done.

How would you feel going into a fight knowing your shoulder is torn and fighting could make it worse?

Pac was very cautious to throw before round 4 but he said to himself **** it let me just go for broke he went for broke in round 4 and tore it worse so he had only 2 options..........

Rematch is not needed like you say he made his choice so he should live with it, fight was not close enough to warrant a rematch.
Lets say floyd gives him one and wins again people will say he rushed back from injury etc...

The thing with this fight that I always thought was that NO MATTER WHAT, aslong as in the end it wasn't close there should be no re-match.
