Which explains why Porter steamrolled Alexander. You know, that guy that shut Maidana out and made him look clueless.

Keep in mind that Paulie has a case for winning the Broner fight, and was lucky not to be badly injured by Porter.

I think he lost too, but it was a close one.

    Porter demolished him inside 4...

Yes a Maidana without Robert Garcia that rarely utilized his jab. Robert completely turned his career around.

Lmfao @ Paulie had a case for winning the Broner fihgt. No way, that was a clear Broner win. I had Ponce beating Broner, but if you think that Paulie had a case you dont know **** about scoring a fight, or you're just a Broner hater.

Porter also lost to Julio Diaz in their first fight.

Don't start underrating Porter just because he lost to Brook, here's a few irrefutable facts, Broner should have lost to Paulie, Porter obliterated him, Maidana couldn't do a damn thing with Devon, Porter beat the hell out of him and rocked him a few times something Maidana couldn't pull off.

If Porter fights Broner like he did Devon and Brook, Broner's below average leg movement will not be efficient enough to get out of the way, he's going to be a sitting duck.

Porter will steamroll Broner with ease. So don't be shock at the result when it happens ellerbe.

He also lost to Diaz. I never overrated him in the first place. I did pick him to beat Alexander, and Brook, but I never thought he was all that.

Why do people keep bringing up Maidana? Can you not tell the difference between a Maidana with Garcia? I'll do a one month ban bet with you, if you like. I'm confident Broner will win.

Trainers don't make as much of a difference as people think they do, not at the pro level.

    Bottom Line:

Porter is all wrong for Broner stylistically AND has faced much better opposition. Broner can't match the workrate, doesn't have the footwork to keep away, and doesn't hit hard enough to trade with Porter. Porter pushes him to the ropes and bombs him with overhand rights. I will be surprised if it goes 12.

One month ban bet me for this fight. If you'd truly be surprised if it goes 12, then let's bet. I'll bet that it goes 12 for sure.

I don't do ban bets, so its pointless to bring it up with me.:deal

He didn't lose to Diaz it was a draw, and it should have been. Diaz is inconsistent as hell, sometimes he shows up in tip top shape and gives his opponent hell sometimes he shows up and gets the s*** beaten out of him.

Broner on the other hand looked really bad against Carlos Molina in the first few rounds and I had Broner Taylor a draw before the Hail Mary KD in the last round. So Porter struggled with a cagey veteran who has decent performances sometimes, and Broner had troubles with two average tune ups. One of which was shut out by Chris Algieri.
