And all off of HBO hype! Looking at resumes, Gennady doesn't deserve to fight any of them!

Here's Lara talking about an eventual fight with Canelo,

"All of the fans know - all roads lead through me at 154 pounds. If he wants to prove he's best 154-pounder in the world he has beat me. I'm the champion of the junior middleweight division. There are no titles at 155-pounds. But other than Cotto or GGG there is no better fight than me. So sooner or later I'll see you. Time's on my side because I'm here to cause problems for the next 10 years. And if he wants I'll fight GGG and he can fight Cotto in September and the winners meet. I don't care my resume tells my story,"

He just said this yesterday. And Ward has made it known for sometime that he's willing to fight Golovkin whenever Golovkin is ready. I have no problem with Golovkin fighting these guys, but let's not pretend like they haven't called him out.

to whom was lara referring? floyd? so he's on about a possible future unification bout (if he beats floyd?) with ggg? cool. you're ignoring ward hasn't been, indeed still isn't, ready himself. sure, talk about some potential future fight, but let's not pretend these are credible call-outs from opponents ready to get in the ring.

I clearly stated that he was talking about Canelo. He proposed a four man tourney where he fights Golovkin and Canelo fights Cotto. And if you're worried about Ward's inactivity, he's fighting in a month. So he and Golovkin can fight in late 2015 if that's what Golovkin wants. Why is not credible when guys say that they want to fight Golovkin, but it's perfectly valid any and every time he says he wants to fight someone else?

yeah, i missed that and just scanned the quote for a clue. so lara wants the rematch?

let's see if ward wants another tune-up and indeed can even make 168 1st. we both know ggg would jump at an offer of any fight he's mentioned. ward's actions since beating froch (shoulder surgery aside) call his credibility into question. i suspect neither ggg nor ward wants the fight before it's ppv.

there's no need for excuses for not fighting ward. ward already made them.

Because he's the recognized lineal champ of the division GGG fights in and it would be the biggest payday of GGG's career...

    You couldn't figure this out?

HBO has tried very hard to hype this guy up. I'm not saying he isn't a good fighter but the hype doesn't fit with what I see from Golovkin.

Are you that same weird looking guy with the mullet who used to constantly bssh all fighters from that region on here a few years back.

Enlighten us as to your fellings on Kovalev, Lomachenko or any of the other fighters from over there that have burst onto the scene since your made your return.

    Yep.

    I don't think it's set in stone but the Risk/Reward isn't there.
