That's just the way it is. If Pacquiao has the best win of the era. And he does, the destruction of Barrera was incredible. Then Morales has arguably the second best win of the era when he clearly decisioned Pacquiao. The other really debatable option is Hopkins stopping Trinidad. He beat Barrera as well and some argue that he should have taken 2 out of 3. He took on Pacquiao and Barrera at the height of their careers and beat them both.
Morales is certainly an ATG, but I personally had him losing all 3 bouts with MAB, the middle one being his best case. :smoke
I had him winning the first two. Give Barrera lots of credit though because I think the 3rd fight was the only fight where it was a fight where 1 guy had a clear case and the other did not.
I actually thought their first fight was the clearest, especially since there was technically a knock down scored in the final round. I had it 116-111 MAB.
And if Morales is an ATG then Danny"Swift" Garcia is on the path to G.O.A.T. because he beat him twice.
Morales is a legend. I had him winning the first two and losing the rubbermatch. He beat a prime Pacquiao when he himself was pretty much shot...one last hurrah to show his greatness.
I wonder if Jones could have handled barrera from 2000-2003. Not taking anything away from Jones but I think barrera improved his craft.
