No clue why Freddie was so subdued and seemingly disinterested. I would have thought on the biggest stage ever, that Roach would have maybe had a little Teddy Atlas in him to push Pac's buttons that would get him to respond.

Enjoyed it very much and agreed to pretty much all the points.
Maybe a little against Pacquiao fighting a little bit more, I want to see him unify the belts at 140 and then ride into the sunset with his head up high.

And damn man, you had to mention Larry Merchant! :|

I miss Larry, but I especially miss the Merchant-Foreman duo which was the best commentating combo I had ever seen in my lifetime.

Appreciate you watching. I'd rather Pacquaio retire myself, but I know he won't.

Brady's a cheater and he's getting suspended. All of his "titles" are tainted.

He's being facetious. Can't you tell? He doesn't really mean it. He's saying it to make Pacquiao's team mad. Rub more dirt in their faces. I love him, haha.

I do recall the moment in the 4th round when Manny pulled back from that 14 punch combo. I started SCREAMING at the TV, "Why are you stopping? Attack! Don't stop!"

After the fight he said that it was during that combo in the fourth where he injured it worse, when the pain really started, and was inhibited more. So, I assume that was when he tore the entire tendon off the cuff.

Nobody around here really believes that. You know this, right?

He tore a tendon completely off the cuff now? Seriously?

That moment when he backed away - it still looked like something that was based more on tentative behaviour, than something that was brought on by a sudden severe injury.

I'm no medical expert, and I have no way of knowing how severe Pac's injury truly was. But I've watched a lot of boxing over the years, and you can usually tell when someone suffers or has suffered some sort of injury of this variety. Now I know people react differently, and injuries vary in severity, and that there are a boatload of variables at play.

But the ENTIRE ORDEAL reeks of something fishy.

Are they seriously now saying he tore the tendon completely off the cuff?

Was it just one tendon? Or all 4?

If I may interject, my position in this has always been that the injury was real and the pain was real and Pacquiao may or may not have felt a sharp sting on that flurry in round 4.
What I know for sure is Floyd would've still won, probably a closer 7-5 UD but still a clear UD, IMHO.

But I know Pacquiao a tad more personally than you guys, have rubbed elbows with and played some hoops against him (he visits city to city with his team and challenge the collegiate players and has-been's in the area, I was privileged to be part of that) and this much I can tell you:

Dude was preparing for the Rios fight when we played and he sprained his ankle. Hard.
As in he can barely stand up after he sprained his ankle (so much for "being extra careful when guarding Manny", those youngsters received a mouthful afterwards I tell you).
He was assisted up, put his weight only on the non-injured foot, shadowboxed a bit (first time in person I saw his speed -- phenomenal!), then against the wishes of his advisers present, STILL went in the middle of the court jumping on one foot, asked for the ball, then nailed the two free throws awarded to him, before he was literally carried to his room to have it treated -- much to the amazement of the people watching.
I mean seriously, it was just a fun game.

But not for Manny it ain't.

The man has b4lls of steel.
And he ain't backing down regardless of the degree of his injury.
If he treats a simple game of pick-up basketball as if his life dependent on it (by sacrificing his training camp for Rios), I can imagine how much more he would put into the most important career fight of his life.
