Is Adam Smith in love with Johnny Nelson? The way Smith stares when a fighter is talking is extremely creepy, like he is doing his best to look like he is in awe and not show that hes got a hard on

The obvious problem with Ringside is that there has never been a single negative word about anyone or anything. Which is not really the reality of the boxing world.

Sometimes you simply cannot polish a turd and you need to call it as it is.

The only times this show is in anyway entertaining is when you have 2 rival fighters on ala Degale/Groves, Froch/Groves, Bellew/Cleverly, Quigg/Frampton

The episode with McGuigan/Munroe/Quigg was funny also. Fans want to see genuine needle not listen to Jim Watt ramble on or listen to Spencer Fearon ****e on about some do he was at in Blackpool.

A show with Barry McGuigan and Eddie Hearn debating why/why not their guys should fight would be good.

Paul Dempsey is the man to front Sky Boxing, but he jumped ship to Setanta at the wrong time.

I used to look forward to watching the episodes on youtube every Thursday, but for some reason no one has uploaded the last two weeks. Is there any reason for that?

This is the main problem with the show for me.

The build up to Mayweather v Pacquiao was sickening. I think it was only mentioned once by a guest that the fight is probably five years to late and Pacquiao had deteriorated noticeably in that time.

I know they have to build up a card that they are showing, but considering their core audience is the hardcore fans, a little bit of honesty every now and then would be nice. Surely they must know the hardcore fan can't be bull****ted like the casual fan who they always pander to, but ironically, probably won't be watching Ringside.

Adam Smith needs to stop shouting, too. He sounds like he is cuming every time a punch is thrown.

I have always felt that Sky as a whole, from their sports to their news, are a bit family friendly. They usually shy away from hard hitting, inquisitive questioning. Their interviews are generally the kind that are not set up to get the public the answers they want, but are instead there for the person being interviewed to pedal what ever it is they are selling. The whole process comes of as unnatural and PR influenced.

No clue, they were pretty good. Obviously this fight it was impossible with Floyd being with Showtime.

Gravvy, I can't respond to the PM because I don't have 75 posts, but I'm not a Brit. Just a Yank that loves British boxing.
