If Floyd fights and beats Triple G at 154, I will call him TBE.

I don't give him much credit for the Pac win because Pac was injured, outsized, and Floyd's performance wasn't dominant, but if he fights and beats Triple G, I'm happy to call the TBE.

Would You give Jones credit for beating Toney?

At 160, that's what I'd expect a candidate for TBE to strive for. Even if he was competitive, which he would be, it'd elevate his legacy more than keeping the 0, I don't think he can stay away for twelve though even if it is Mayweather.

BS. If Floyd beats GGG at 154, it will be called weight draining.

It would have to be at 160 to mean anything and floyd is just not big enough

w/ever. He just schooled #48 and you guys say he lost. He fought Canelo 2 pounds under the JMW limit and all we hear is he weight drained him. GGG moving down a whole division would bring out some serious whining.

Doesn't matter who Floyd fights next, he won't ever be TBE. He is the best of our generation but of All-time? Not even close. "TBE" is clever marketing on the part of Mayweather.

    GGG is unproven.

If he moves up and beats Ward at 168 hes TBE for sure though :yep

It was Emmanuel Steward who said Floyd is one The Best Ever. Floyd didn't come up with it.

    WTF? :patsch

Injury - Pac broke protocol for the shot and this has been a problem since 2008. No issues for anyone else.

Outsized - Are you kidding me?

Wasn't dominant - But when Pac, or any other ATG, is not dominant it's because they're fighting the best. We all wanted this fight up until February 2015 when reality set in

Mayweather can beat Golovkin at 160 and Ward at 168 and still wouldn't be the best ever.

Canelo's an undisciplined fat ass and he's stockier than Triple G. Canelo's needed the BS 155 catchweights so as to avoid sharks at 160. Triple G has never had issues making weight.

154 = Full credit from me

Various catchy monikers adopted by athletes (and others) weren't necessarily created by them.

Floyd is ONE of the best ever yes. but THE best ever? No.
