I kind of wish I didn't but people pitched in and that made up for the fight, just not the food. The fanboy in me got excited.

Ya know what? So what if it wasn't the best fight. We still found out who the best of this era was. Plus the fight brought people together in a super bowl like way.

It was a small price to pay, in order to heckle boxing-master and all of his alts.
After 6 yrs of talking ****, just to have him here with us taking all this abuse, kinda brings a smile to my face

:good Absolutely. I'm such a boxing fan, who particularly enjoys FMJ's style, I ordered the fight at home (DVR'd it) and still went to a friend's fight party. I just wanted to be able to watch it when I got home from the party! Haha.

Floyd is definitely the PPV king! Set the top 3 PPV records.

According to fat Dan, "#MayweatherPacquiao destroys all-time PPV record. HBO and Showtime announce it did 4.4 ppv buys in its initial report."

True, but stilll impressive nonetheless. Still I would think more numbers will be coming in.

Impressive, but maybe not the numbers needed to guarantee a rematch.

It will be really hard for a fight to ever top that number. The next closest was 2.5 million I think.

Yup and with the Alverez numbers, it shows 2015 to be a huge breakout year for boxing.

Strange. They projected 5.5 ish based on projections using the typical ratios for PPV avenues. How on earth did the segment that typically brings in 55-65% of sales only manage 50%???

    I predicted 4.5 mill, so I'm 100k off. :)

It's an immense number but dayum, we kept being told 5.5+, there or thereabouts.
