How much of that had to do with people that hadn't seen the Mayweather fight and watched the replay and decided to keep watching? A lot I am betting.

looks more like Canelo's fight helped the re-broadcast's numbers.

What contrast in terms of action.

Mayweather and Pacquiao unofficially passed the torch to the younger, more exciting charming Canelo by performing so dull compared to Alvarez' and Kirkland's fight.

    Truth :deal

There were more oohs! and ahs! in the 3 rounds Canelo and Kirkland fought, than in Mayweather's last 60 rounds. :yep

UFC is struggling big time right now all their biggest stars are convicted PED cheats or keep getting arrested or injured. Their PPV #'s have been on the decline since 2012 and their biggest star right now is a female :rofl

Both resumes have one or two "possiblle" hall of famers on each list....We are confusing volume with quality.

These are their most notable opponents by the age of 24.

Canelo has more fights against notable names at 24 than Mayweather had at 24.

It's just a point I was making to someone who said in this thread that Mayweather's resume by the age of 24 was superior to Canelo's... that is just not true.

I don't see how you couldn't say that..

    Lopez was essentially JWW
    Baldomir was a gatekeeper
Trout was a gatekeeper with potential
Kirkland had been inactive for almost two years.

I can't say the other fighters May fought were a ton better, but Genaro and Corrales seem to be higher up on the list than anyone on Canelo was being fed. Just an opinion though.
