Preemptive damage control.

If Broner, who Super Hans has claimed over and over is essentially a piece of worthless trash as a boxer, beats Porter than Super Hans' special little friend Kell Brook's best and arguably only truly notable victory looks much less stellar.

And if Porter wins, well, with all the trash talking Super Hans has done with Broner since he created an ESB account specifically to talk about Broner and how much he sucks, well, Porter wouldn't have scooped up a good scalp in the victory and according to Super Hans Porters' stock wouldn't rise.

Nope. As I said last night, when did I ever give you the impression I rated Porter? Even before the fight I said Porter is not the best fighter Brook has ever faced. You only thought that because he beat domestic level opponents overrated by HBO.

I knew Brook was going to school him (unlike you who said it was an easy night for Porter) now he will be going into a fight drained at his lower ever weight, with a hydration clause- and with his soul on Brook's mantle piece. So how that degrades Brooks win I don't know.

Perhaps all Mayweather's win mean little to you because most of the fighters he faced went onto lose again shortly after?

I still strongly favour Porter to win despite this if the fight is legit (although the amount of gifts I've seen Broner get, coupled with the ref never doing anything to stop him from cheating, and the complete non-effort of John Molina means I would not be suprised if the fight is not legit)

But then again you are the expert in pre-emptive damage control. After all you do it with Khan all the time. You on a thread titled: Fights you'd be willing to bet money you can't afford to lose on the betting underdog

    http://www.boxingforum24.com/showthread.php?t=515664&page=2

Yet despite neither of them fighting since you posted that, on fight week you was picking Khan. Did your agenda at the time involve ridiculing Khan (like 50% of your posts) to praise Mayweather (the other 50%) for not fighting him and instead try to suggest Khan couldn't beat the man who shut out the opponent Mayweather actually choose.

Exposed as an agenda driven troll. The reason you really don't want the Khan fight is nothing to do with resumes, it's because you are worried Khan might win. :hi:

It clearly the numbers soared because Manny Pacquiiao was the opponent and the draw! The cheers at the MGM Grand and the boos for Floy Mayweather Jr. said it all! Besides there were few Filipinos in the crowd during that fight.

Pac bought $4M in tickets for cheering section. I'm surprised they weren't throwing stuff at Floyd.

Kinda bittersweet. Not the most entertaining in casuals eyes but its still a record for us boxing fans.
