Your talking about that joke thread on punch stats? My statement is not biased I've watched boxing for over 30 years. Pac was clearly not ready for someone with that kind of craft..... It was very disappointing, I wanted a good fight what we got was a one sided boxing lesson. That just an opinion but it's right on

Why is Mayweather abhorred by most decent people?? The answer is easy

Boxing wise.... He refused throughout his career to fight his legitimate opponents. Instead he cherry picked who he wanted to fight. Those he did "Fight" he did not give them a level playing field. He only fights in Vegas where with the now exposed corrupt NSAC made sure he did not lose.
Most unbiased boxing people award him at least two legitimate losses but NSAC gave him winning decisions. He is looked on as a Prima Donna COWARD!!

Personal Life.... Mayweather is nothing more than a cowardly woman beating POS He has numerous assault charges against him over the years all covered up by Las Vegas. Obviously the $$$$$$$$$$ he generates for them exceeds common decency & circumvents the law.

Those are my honest personal opinions on Mayweather & I'd just like to add
Ive been very fortunate to get to meet so many people in boxing over the years Fighters, Trainers, Promoters etc The only person I declined the chance to meet was Mayweather. I think the reasons why are explained above

Floyd bit off more than he can chew with Miss Jackson, he doesn't have game. The main reason being is he doesn't know himself properly (and probably never will).

Isn't it obvious? He got convicted for beating up a woman in front of a child. That is the lowest of the low.

    How can anyone like him?

Good question.. I think slightly over or way over..

How a guy make it in the sport the way Floyd has by cherry picking 48 fights sounds stupid.. Even when Bob Arum was his promoter, he somehow picked his own matches even though Bob wouldn't let him fight who he wanted.. He was also protected by Vegas before he was even a draw.. He was protected even though he wasn't on ppv.. I wonder why he was chosen...

People have wanted this fight for so long that when it was finally made they were so excited they forgot about reality for a short while.

Regardless of Pacquiao's injury, he can't fight for three minutes of every round anymore. He hasn't really since the Margarito fight. However, people allowed themselves to believe in the fantasy that Manny today was the Manny of five years ago. They therefore wrongly believed that Manny would relentlessly put pressure on Mayweather and not try to spend large portions of the fight trying to out box him and fight in spurts.

The build up was a massive embarrassment for anyone who didn't get caught up in the euphoric overhype of the event. I understand that people working for the networks who shown the fight have to sell the event, but people in boxing not directly tied to the event have no excuse for the cringe inducing nonsense that made up 99% of the media build up to the fight.

It was a stunning case of over the top promotion throwing reality and objectivity down the toilet and sadly most of the boxing world went along with it.

Even more depressing than the little coverage given to the notion that this fight was five years to late, was the fact that it was one of the biggest rip-offs in sporting history. They took a working class sport and made sure only the rich could attend.

"One for the purists" is utter horse ****.

Whoever enjoys watching Mayweather fight needs to get themselves and girlfriend, open their curtains, and get out of the house and meet actual people.

The only enjoyment to be had with Mayweather is the forlorn hope that one of his opponents gets lucky and knocks his ass out.
