Khan has never been booed into the ring, in Britain or America. Whenever there were any boos in sections of the arena, it was always drowned out by the huge cheers. Khan never had an overwhelming booing reception like what Mayweather had against Pacquiao. The only way for Khan to ever get such a negative booing reception is if he also turns out to be a wife-beater like Floyd.

What about more than one rabbit punch per round? More than one low blow per round? Screw it, more than one infraction of any kind results in an automatic point deduction.

Change thread title to: Murica should be behind Maypicker.
    That's more appropriate

And this is exactly what the scoring criteria is. These 4 specific elements encompass how judges are supposed to score a fight, round by round.

And this is also the reason why Floyd Mayweather doesn't lose. He almost always dominates in 3 of those categories. He might not be the hardest puncher, but his shots are clean and his accuracy usually hovers around 50%.

And as far as ring generalship goes, he made Pacman decrease his punch output exponentially, and made him miss a lot more than he's accustomed to (landing under 20% of his shots.)

I rewatched the fight and I don't see how Pacman won more than 4 rounds. And that's me giving him every possible close round in the fight.

It was a nice fight and had its moments of suspense and tension, but it wasn't hard to score that fight whatsoever.

Well I haven't read of ONE boxing writer giving Manny the win. Or scored it close... every boxer had it for Mayweather except for Holyfield. Plus they don't respect Manny for lying

He really needs to fight someone with a fan base, Canelo or Cotto except no-one wants to see those and without those names I think he struggles to get 400k after his terrible performance against a half fit Pac.

I don't see any option for him but to rematch Pac but he won't want to do that after he was rocked so badly last time by just mere straight lefts.

Apart from one left hand in the fourth round, on what do you base your opinion that Manny's shots were harder?

And if Floyd's shots were featherdusters, why did Manny back away when Floyd came forward? Why didn't Manny walk through them?

look it like this, if you had a fighter from your town and you hate his guts, do you have to root for him just cause he was from your town?

Are you that dumb or hurt? Floyd landed nearly double the punches that Manny landed. Pac missed nearly 80% of his punches, throwing with BOTH arms/SHOULDERS. Check conpubox and just watch the fight son.

Of course he thought he won.

The sore loser tag is horse-****.

He was gracious with JMM and Morales, but he believes he beat Floyd.

And all the talk of him being overmatched, outclassed, schooled etc, is equally horses-****.

He was the aggressor for 95 % of the fight. On the two occasions where Floyd tried to take the fight to him (at the urging of Floyd senior), Floyd quickly felt his power and decided to stick to the winning formula, run and potshot. Pretty much how most had predicted the fight would go.

Floyd initiated all but one of the clinches and , in Pac's yes, ran for most of the bout. Pac landed the harder, more telling blows.

This led to him believing he won. It didn't help matters that Roach told him he was winning at the ends of rd 10.

All that said, I scored the fight 8 - 4 to Floyd.
And I don't believe Pac's injury was much of a factor in the fight.

    7 - 5 wouldn't be out of the question, and neither would 9 -3.

But I can see why Pac thought he won.

Manny was never hurt, Floyd was hurt a couple times atleast by his left hand. Nobody like's getting punched in the face though and just because Manny backed up a total amount of times I could count on one hand, means nothing, not when he came forward 95% of the fight TRYING to fight. At times, defense kicks in and you back up to get out of range in order to reset your offense. Manny tried to exchange with floyd several times and the second they would both start to throw, Floyd would clinch. Manny even looked at floyd a couple times and then the ref saying WTF, cause Bayless wouldn't allow them to fight out and floyd was doing it too much at times, but what else is new. Bayless was the reason the 2nd Maidana fight was nothing like the first one.

Congratulations. You made a case for Pacquiao winning round 3... the swing round that would give him the fight.
