    Wilder should win this, that said you can never be sure with a glass jawed fraud like him. I'm glad he was able to get in one title defense before they throw him and his belt to the winner of Povetkin-Perez.

    WBC title eliminator fight is much much much better than the WBC World title fight. Can anyone actually believe that???

    I was thinking about that last night. Going to be interesting if Povetkin wins (he should) his financial backers will win the purse bid and drag Wilder over to Russia. That would be interesting as Haymon doesn't like not being in control.

    I thought Wilder would face Povetkin before but now that Molina fight is official I'm starting to believe they'll vacate the belt after Povetkin side wins the purse.

    It's a first-defense "hometown" fight, a chance to defend the title an hour from his home. And due to Wilder's recovery from a broken hand it's happening on one month's notice. Not a big deal.

    It took Stiverne 8 months to make his one defense and that was only because it was forced by the WBC.

    Vitali held this belt in limbo for 2 years without defending it at all before finallly vacating.

    Wilder's getting in the ring 6 months after winning it, and probably would have been sooner if he hadn't broken his hand. I'll take it.

    This is a very possible scenario. If Wilder were to vacate to avoid Povetkin or Perez I would love to see Jennings or Thompson kick his ass, the fact that people call him the best American heavyweight is ridiculous.

    IMO Wilder would be crazy not to find a way to cash out vs Wlad.

    Knowledgeable boxing fans know Wilder is a glass-jawed fraud - his "power' the product of the pathetic quality of his opposition, and his avoidance of being KOd the product facing these carefully selected stiffs for five years before lucking out against the limited and ailing Stiverne.

    And even with the super-careful section of mechanics, cab drivers and store stockboys, two these part time boxers - obese Dustin Nichols and professional loser Harold Sconiers - had this joke on the canvas!:patsch

    Wilder is a brutal knockout waiting to happen. I can't wait until this fraud is exposed.
