I always hear people getting on the case of a fighter that won by robbery because they believe they won the fight (or at least claim they won to save face, who cares?)

Can anyone name a fighter that, despite winning by robbery, admitted they should've lost the fight?

Didn't Danny Garcia say "I lost." or something to Lamont Peterson when they hugged each other?

    ???

    No robbery there.

Norton won clearly and Ali admitted such.

And Norton never suggested that he shouldn't have got the nod.

Supposedly, I couldn't tell, but then again I watched it on my phone. I meant publicly though.

Evander got a draw against Lewis, and implicitly, agreed that he should have lost.

I believe that was Ali vs Norton III, with Ali thanking the judges to score the fight for him while he got lit up.

There was also an British fighter that actually admitted he lost a while back.
edit: ah, the vid is just posted above me :good

Such a rare sight but it begs for respect.

He had good reason to be p*ssed because he'd been seriously messed around during the lead up to the fight too with his opponent pulling out, the fight meant to taking place abroad and then getting switched up at the last minute etc. You can hear how disappointed he was about it all during this pre-fight interview.

But despite all that and it being the first defence of his world title, in a very close fight fought in front of his hometown crowd who were celebrating his victory vociferously, he didn't even contemplate trying to blag it and make out he'd won.

Hagler said Leonard told him that after their fight. Leonard denies it. Leonard admitted that he lost the second Hearns fight even though it was scored a draw.

i know taylor wasn't exactly arguing with a draw v. wright when winky was screaming that he won. he was a man about it and offered him 5 million to get back in the ring with him which winky turned down in one of the most epic **** ups that rarely gets talked about. the champ shrugs his shoulders after a draw that the other guy thought he won, offers said guy 5 million to do it again and said other guy says no. makes total sense.

mind you taylor never said he lost but i always shake my head at that story.
