What's wrong with confidence? Truth be told, he hasn't given anyone reason to believe that he will lose. His biggest challenge and the guy many thought could beat him was dismantled over 12 rounds and embarrassed to the point he had to blame his shoulder for his defeat.
He may very well retire undefeated. Who do you think has the skills to beat him?

So if 1 out of 75 of a country's population buy a PPV fight, it means the whole country was behind one of the fighters and completely on board with his ideas...
I guess you must be sarcastic, although the post doesn't come over as such

Not to mention Cotto-Pac did 1.25 million, while Floyd-Cotto did as you pointed out 1.5 million. This was after Pac beat Cotto, so people still wanted to see Cotto against Floyd after he losed.

Your reasoning is as sound as your financial position.
I already addressed the fact that Floyd had Canelo, Broner/Maidana etc on his undercards, of course he was going to sell well. He is also a Black American from the country where PPV are counted.
Pac has terrible undercards and is the wrong colour and nationality but compare the situations between the 2, Pac is the bigger draw.

    The end.

No, but you'd appreciate ART. And wouldn't make dumb comments about Floyd's power, or Pac backing up, etc. Just like every other boxer and trainer respects Floyd's skills and abilities, you don't. Because you probably don't even do martial arts.

Half of those figures are wrong anyway. I'm not disagreeing with you, it just annoys me how often the numbers are rounded to a more whole figure more often than not. I get the impression that it's to boost numbers as well, although I could be wrong.

Pac is the bigger draw yet Floyd has more PPV buys regardless of the undercards, and who buys PPVs for the undercards?

Floyd's PPVs also cost more than Pac's. Yet people pay for Floyd even though his style is "boring".

Its ok for him to believe that right after the fight with the adrenaline and emotions running high.

For him to say he watched the fight multiple times and gives himself a 2 pts W is completely dumb, and yes that makes him a sore loser.

Lets be clear about something, Manny has more boxing knowledge in his pinky then any one of us on this board. So he knows better.

His 'agressiveness' wasnt effective at all. Does he not see himself miss 80% of his shots when he watches the fight?

He knows Floyd displayed MUCH MUCH better defense then he did in every round except 2. People wanna talk about running and hugging, what about all the shots Floyd just slipped and rolled???

He can see Floyd throw more, land a ton more, and land at a much higher clip.

So what is he giving himself rounds for exactly? For simply taking steps forward? Doesnt work like that.

He is judging his own fight so his eyes are the most biased of course, but damn, where did he find 7 rounds to give himself??? Thats a joke and ist embarassing to me. He is better then that.

What are you using to prove that those numbers are wrong?
