What makes you think that he'd have gotten the opportunity to have knocked out Roy? Do you think that Roy would have just stood there in front of him, with his chin out? Roy had huge advantages in speed and skills, and he had one punch knockout power.
Well for one Jones NEVER fought a savage puncher in his whole career despite there being such fighters available to him. Also, GGG along with being a savage puncher is great at cutting off the ring. He will land on Roy's fragile Glass Jaw and it will be good night. Jones has no Chin. None.
You can start thinking about picking Golovkin over Jones when the Triple Duck goes up to HW and wins a title there. Until then... Jones by brutal KO early..
It doesn't matter if Roy had a bad chin. GGG would had to have found it. Yes, GGG is a great fighter, and he cuts of the ring well. I'm a fan. But as great and as dangerous as he looks, he hasn't fought top opposition, and in my opinion, he's not that hard to hit. I think Roy with his unbelievable speed, would have had no issue in finding him. Roy had clear advantages in hand speed, shot variation, and reflexes. GGG has good speed, but he looks slow in comparison. It's foolish to just focus on Roy's chin, GGG's power, and then assume it would have been a forgone conclusion. Watch the Thomas Tate fight. In my opinion, there's no way that GGG would easily have beaten that version of Roy. http://youtu.be/iXSxvqO7jXM
Wow the racist ****roach Cisco Route sure ran fast maybe he is going to get tested. more then likely though he has had it for years and that is why he is so bitter.
I think Butes resume was better at that time. Bute had won his title from a world champ and beaten fighters like Bika, Magee, Andrade, Berrio etc
