Don't forget Floyd getting his ass paddled by a shot, inactive ''I haven't fought in a whole year and that fight was the only time I've fought in nearly three'' Oscar either.

Mayweather would not get through Hearns' jab and would not have the power to earn the needed respect. He'd lose probably on decision but if Hearns connects with the right then he has the ability to stop Mayweather.

Mayweather outboxes Duran at 147 and wouldn't be psychologically goaded as SRL was. Mayweather at 147 was smarter and wiser than he was at 130 or 135. Duran wins at 135 against the Mayweather who fought at 135 (the one who faced Castillo). It's an exciting fight in either division.

If you check my past posts I've been saying it was rigged months before before the fight even happened

It's tough to say. But I'd favor Duran heavily at 135 and more often than not at 147.

He was a bit tentative, but did enough to make sure he could win clearly.

I thought there were plenty of instances during the fight where he could've pressed the action with some combinations, but he doesn't really fight in that manner anymore. He's become much more cautious, and at his age, he has every right to be.

    THIS

Im a fan of floyds and was a fan of Pacs also until he came out with all the excuses. just lost my respect for him after that

Honestly ive never seen a more delusional fanbase than Pacquiao's. Skip Bayless is a prime example (even though it seems to be for show if nothing else)

Maidana fought well in the first floyd fight and did something Pacquiao seemed to afraid to do : pin Mayweather down

Maidana stayed in the pocket and roughed Floyd up on the inside and made sure he stayed there half the time, when Pacquiao had Floyd on the ropes he backed off after he couldnt land cleanly enough. either way Floyd still beat Maidana twice and if im honest beat Castillo twice also. just because it was a close fight and people dislike Floyd as a person they try as hard as they can to discredit the guy

Personally I think Mayweather is an egotistical, monotizing ******* . . . . . but love or hate him he can fight, and does it better than Pac as shown on may 2nd.

116-112 was the correct score for Maidana/Floyd I and I'm no Floyd fan. If you had it 115-113 and a judge scores the fight 116-112 then they are wildly off? You need to learn how this boxing stuff works.

It's hard to argue with the slow motion evidence.

I applied it to the Gatti fight also, and in actuality it looked like Gatti was about to stop FLoyd within the next round or 2. His jaw was doing major damage to FLoyds hands.

He is 48-0. He beat Castillo, Maidana and Pacquiao. Wake up and smell the roses.

Maybe the first Castillo fight but remember Floyd had a shoulder injury :deal ironic how pac****s are now using that excuse

Personally for me its a 50/50 toss up between Floyd/Duran, Duran quit against Leonard because he was frustrated . . . . . Floyd could possibly retire him all together :rofl

Ill be honest and say Hearns and Leonard smash Floyd though, no contest

Certainly agree at 135. I think it's clear that after the Castillo scares, Mayweather took it a bit easier by taking on not quite A grade opponents, and in that series of fights before moving up permanently to the 140-147 range, he trained an awful lot of his ability to not back up under pressure, in-fighting, and being confident in the pocket. That's why, with all that extra understanding he at least stands a clearly better shot at 147 than 135, during the period where he had a great mix of overall smarts and skills and still near enough prime athleticism.

How do you see Pacquaio and Duran going? I can flash knock-downs either way with Duran generally prevailing. Pacquiao has the speed and the volume but Duran is too tough and durable. A 15 round fight might be very difficult for Pacquiao to survive the distance in against Duran.

There's simply no way for Mayweather to get past the jab. Hearns would freeze Mayweather, who can often lack fluidity because he often has to fight to "his plan". His plans would keep getting thwarted by that stuff jab and he'd wonder what the heck he has to do and not really get a whole lot done. His only chance would be to desperately goad Hearns into some risky offence and hope he clocks him with a serious counter combination, but Mayweather wouldn't have the power to make it count.
