Boxing needs to educate the fans and make the realise there are 1000's of fighters out there and many of which are worth watching. Too many fans seem to think the only fighters that matter are on HBO and Showtime and as a result they, as fans, are missing out on some of the most exciting fighters on the planet.

Not really a push, if you disagree give me names of his best wins at WW, and compare them to his wins at LMW. At his size he's much more comfortable at LMW. I don't know why you're going on about Floyd I was just merely correcting your mistake, but I'd pick him to outbox Hearns, athough the weakest of the fab 3(hagler was simply too big) I'd give Duran the best shot due to his style.

Thats the exact idea ive had for years! A 3 clinch limit per round. The first time you get a warning after that its a point every time. If you get caught with a big shot and are hurt clinching does not count against you.
This simple rule would improve boxing immensely. Guys that get trapped on the ropes would have to use good footwork and skill to escape or have to fight their way out. On the negative side it could possibly lead to more running like floyd does.
