No **** even Hatton sold out and was willing to go out on his shield but Pac wasn't he knew if he pressed he would get KTFO and he wasn't willing to pay that price. Hatton and Maidana both were willing to pay it though.

Floyd fans say 'Compubox is accurate' as a result of the Manny-Floyd fight. You can only really know by watching the fight on slow motion (jokes aside).

But Floyd fans also say 'Compubox is nonsense' when it comes to Floyd-Castillo 1 fight. They also say the rotator cuff injury is very significant. But for the Manny-Floyd fight, it's nothing.

I prefer to be without bias. I will not part with my steadfast towards critical thinking.

You have to take age and size into factor. Floyd is much smarter now, but he's also a lot older. Floyd is a smaller WW, while Hearns was definitely not a small LMW, do you understand now? Floyd also has loads of notable names at the lower weights, that are comparable to the higher weights, so again bad comparison. Same goes for the Pac comparison. The fact that hearns was clearly a better LMW is just fact. Don't fight it, just accept it.
No I'm not suggesting that he only fought Hearns at 160. Again you're putting words into my mouth. Give me a number. Also boxrec suggests that he fought more at LHW, I could be wrong though. Get a number and source to confirm it, or I'll just take it as speculation to strengthen your argument. Either way, my point is the guy has been stopped multiple times in his career. I'll stick ot that name but if you disagree what about journey man Alfonso Hayman? He was a welterweihgt, he lasted 10. He's also been stopped a lot, it's just absurd to say Pac would be lucky to make it to 3, and to say it like fact. If that's your opinion sure, I can respect it, but it's still pretty dumb to me. Duran and Pac fight nothing alike too.

oh damn, turns out he had a torn ACL also

"A documented torn ACL to heal before camp and during training which led to a giant blister on the opposite foot He should be commended @sugarshanem had a giant blister on his foot that popped midfight, a result from compensating a torn acl on the opposite leg!!"

    Then for the achilles

    Good attempt.
But video footage will have you see Mayweather literally runs at even the slightest hint of attack a lot of the time.
Video footage will also show you Mayweather is proactively engaging in clinches, almost jumping onto Manny.

There's only so much you can do when you have an opponent who's willing to use these strategies (one of them being illegal). If it was Floyd vs Golovkin, because Golovkin is a master of cutting off the ring and strikes more fear, Floyd will literally become a 100m sprinter. That's not even a joke.

Im a floyd fan and never said compubox is nonsense with Castillo fight. Ive said that stats dont tell the whole fight. if even a fighter lands more overall punches, doesnt mean he won because you score on a round by round basis.

as in the May-Pac fight, you dont even need stats. pac got dominated and everybody knows it. not even a topic

Floyd Mayweather is 46-1-1 in my opinion.
He lost to Castillo in the first fight, we can mostly agree there.
He drew against Maidana. If I actually ask Floyd's biggest fans how they scored the fight, almost any two Floyd fans will give Maidana different rounds, making a case for a Maidana victory.
Maidana only drew that fight because he didn't back away to 'run' like Mayweather after being ahead in each round, because Maidana IS a true fighter.
I find 115-113 in favour of Maidana not the most plausible by any means, but yet it is not an absurd scorecard at all.

I can understand wholeheartedly if people had Mayweather 46-2, but he's not 45-3. Casuals actually think Manny won the fight - Manny would have won if the judges scored the fights like they used to before.

Uhm did you not watch the game. Kobe still played and everything after it happen. Even shot the ball, played defense, etc. He was taken out of the game a little later when the pain was too much I guess

Lol four months. Okay that's a big difference. Pacquiao tore his rotator cuff 3 WEEKS before the fight and then worsened it by completely tearing the tendons of the muscle during the fight.

Also Shane's an idiot for fighting. He had four months to postpone. It wouldn't have been a big deal then to do it. 3 weeks is another story tho, especially when tix for hotels flights betting etc are already paid for. Shane's stupid and Pac had to choose the lesser of two evils. And who knows if Mosley was allowed medication before the fight
