Okay, you can think that. But you're the only person on the planet who thinks it's a fact that Tommy was a better JMW than WW just because he beat Duran and Benitez at weights that were not their best. The wins are still impressive, but they alone do not mean he was better at JMW, just as Floyd's impressive wins at 147 and 154 do not make that his best weight. Hearns was a force of nature at 147, he was also a force of nature at 154. He was great at both weights, he was not better at JMW. But, you're free to keep thinking it.

As for Murray. He started as a MW and moved up quickly to LHW because it was the division where he had the clearest path to a title shot. After losing to Spinks and Eddie Davis at LHW he moved all the way back down to MW in his very next fight and fought his last 30 fights at MW and SMW! He was not a true LHW!! Murray probably had around 15 of his 60 or so career fights at LHW and was a very small guy for the division. He came in weighing in the low 170s during an era of same-day weigh ins and he was no weight cutter. He was lucky to be 175 when he stepped in the ring at LHW. You know next to nothing about Murray outside of what you learned on box rec in the last hour and yet you call him a bum. He was a very solid fighter and contender, but I doubt you had any idea who he is until today when you picked him off Tommy's resume as an example of why Manny wouldn't get knocked out early.

 

Canelo was only 21 or 22 years old when he fought the #1 P4P king and best fighter of this era.

Since the Mayweather fight Canelo has proven to be the best JrMW in boxing, makes exciting fights regardless of his limitations, and fights for the fans....

It is evident he takes his trade very seriously, as we see him improve after every fight.

Canelo can lose some fights and people will still watch him fight, the same way Duran, Leonard, Pacquiao, De La Hoya, Ali etc... could lose and still pull in fans.

Losing to mayweather means nothing because Mayweather makes you fight his fight you will lose. dont compare canelo-Pac fights with Mayweather. both got dominated, plain and simple.
