Fair point, I wasn't really detracting from how tough Lewis was in that fight, I just felt he didn't acknowledge that Vitali gave him a heck of a challenge, he took a beating. At the end of the day that fight was brutal and they both deserve credit, I just think Lewis came out looking arrogant about it.

In general he just doesn't know how to complement or acknowledge a decent challenge from a public stand point, the closest I seen him come is when he pointed out Mercer was one of his toughest fights and he had to dig deep. All he says about Bruno to this day is he came out cold and it took time to get warmed up, when in reality Frank was kicking his ass the majority of the fight. I guess he is not the only guilty fighter that does this but as said, the way he does it just irks me these days.

To me the fight was brutal but Lennox weathered an strong Vitali for the first three rounds but then it seemed Vitali started to fade, was badly cut and then started to get hit very hard .. I think if Vitali could have come out for one more round he would have gotten hurt ..

All fighters that have had long successful careers have a certain amount of arrogance. Lewis's problem was he sometimes showed it in his preparation for fights, particularly if he thought the other guy wasn't up to much. I still think the way he preferred to stay in Las Vegas poncing about with fuking film stars instead of training and acclimatising in South Africa for Rahman 1 was pathetically arrogant. Especially when you consider the shape he got himself into for Tua 5 months beforehand, and 7 months later for Rahman 2.

When fully optimized, Lennox was undeniably a beast. Even his most ardent fans, however, can't deny that he failed to optimize himself on every occasion, and this does boil down to hubris.

Nonsense. According to the rules of the sport it should have been TD6 for Vitali.

My point exactly. But the Lenni "Chinny, Cant take a punch to the face" Lewi nut huggers keep spinning all the legal bull **** "There was no rematch clause in the contract hence no rematch, Lewi won the match even if by fluke hence no need to rematch but he had a right to get rematches on his one punch to the face knock outs to journey men, Lewi made all the money in the world and could walk away from Boxing, Lewi was shot even though he himself admitted in many interviews he was fighting at his best in his career and he was getting better with age.

The nut hugging for such a chilly fellow is pathetic. The guy's claim to fame and in his words his completed legacy is due to inconsequential wins over Shot contemporaries.

Yes indeed, in effect Lewis beat himself in those fights.

And Tyson didn't beat himself in his losses? Why the double standards and hypocricy?

Simple question: if Lewis is so Chinny why couldn't your idol knock him out ?

If that's true why don't you to court and have the decision reversed?

It certainly appears that there's enough of you delusional idiots around to s**** together a few bucks to get this "corrected"

For that matter why didn't Vitial's camp take the decision to the courts, perhaps they might reversed the decision.

Or could it be that you don't know what the **** you're talking about?

Vitali of course. Why couldn't he knock the "chinny" Lewis out, he had plenty of time to do so?

Vitali is not my idol no 1 but i will call a spade a spade when a fighter is unfairly robbed and then not given a justified rematch. Not sure about Vitali's punching power but based on my research Wlad hits 10 times harder and according to Danny Williams, even though Vitali floored him 3 times, he still maintains that he had never been hit as hard by anyone as Tyson had hit him briefly during their encounter.

Fact is Lennox Chinny Cant take a punch to the face Lewi went down twice in his career from just one shot to the face from absolute journey men, whether he saw the punches or not is immaterial, he couldn't take them bottom line and history will always make a note of this fact. His huge strength, height and manny steward played a big part in preventing many bums and shot fighters from getting to that chin.

Another fact is Vitali couldn't knock him out, Tyson couldn't knock him out, Tua couldn't knock him out, Ruddock couldn't knock him out, Morrison couldn't knock him out, Mercer couldn't knock him out, Golota couldn't knock him out, Holyfield couldn't knock him out.

Ya, that's some chinny fighter he was, not only couldn't any of those guys knock him out, he beat them all, and KO'd about 1/2 of them. And he made Vitali's face unrecognisable even to his momma.

Again your irrelevant rants are not going to change the facts that Lenni Chinny cant take a punch to the face Lewi got knocked out by single shots to the face by absolute journey men. That is the true definition of being chinny.

Finally you are coming out of your closet. Spoken like a true Lenni Chinny, Cant take a punch to the face Lewi nut hugger. Completely and deliberately ignoring the facts that a vast majority of these fighters were shot by them time they got to him and some were journey men.

Your boy got starched by one shot from Mccall and Rahman. Live with it and accept it.
