Also the fight is better on the second watch than the first time IMO. think it was just so amped up anything short of an all out firefight would be a let down. now after not expecting much and re-watching it seems like a more entertaining fight. For a mayweather fight anyways.

It's not a bad fight, I enjoy it. But it's not as action packed and exciting as the Maidana fights or the Cotto fight (with Mayweather), for example. However, it was such a special occasion and I enjoy the chess in the ring that Mayweather and Pacquiao played. I think Floyd won the fight. Obviously, compared to some of the classics that Pacman has been in, this fight was tame, but it was a different kind of fight — a real chess match in the ring.

There's no reason why they can't fight again next year after they both look real good again around September time against a couple of solid names. We'll see. Overall, both thought a bit too hard in the ring first time round and gave each other perhaps slightly too much respect. I'd expect a greater punch volume in a rematch.

 

Floyd won 8-4 every single time I've watched it...sorry buddy.
