I'm not seeing it, myself, but what do I know? I picked Pac to win the first time around!

He's not better than him now, and I doubt he will be if and when they meet again (which honestly, I kind of hope the rematch never comes together - it will inevitably be another dull affair).

But a lot can happen in a year, both of these guys are old, and both of them are well past their best.

Haven't these 2 P4P jack offs conned fans out of enough money these past 6 years?

I honestly think Pacquiao presents horrible problems for Mayweather, which is why I rate the win highly for him. He knew the urgency required of him in this match-up and wasted no time in making sure he reeled off the first few rounds. He was sharp minded and incredibly focused for the task at hand. He wanted this more than Pacquiao in the end and I think the circumstances leading up to the fight and everything that was said led to that dynamic. The dynamic would be reversed in a rematch. Pacquiao knows he dropped the ball... and it's probably going to eat at him for a while.

Mayweather just tooo goooddd! PPL beleving in these fairy tales and thats the reason why ppl got dissapoited in the PPV! Because ppl wanna believe he can get caught with a lucky punch or something when ppl that actually broke the fight down, knew Pac didnt have a chance in hell.

your not gonna lose more rounds in every fight against JMM and somehow beat Mayweather! Im sorry, it just doesnt work like that.

They don't need to, the rounds Pacquiao lost clearly which cost him the fight were the ones when Floyd stood in front of him for key parts of the round, that's what he needs to fix.

    Rounds 1, 2, 5, 11

Pacquiao was winning when Floyd was running but Floyd Sr. was telling Floyd to stand his ground and to back Pacquiao up, that's when Floyd did well.

No rematch. Like i've told many ppl before and have many threads on it!

Khan and Cotto are harder fights then Pacquaio! pac has no jab, rarely throws body shots, and actually thinks he can outbox Floyd like a dummy! Khan has a great jab and accuracy, he''ll win waaayyyy more rounds then Pac. Cotto has a good jab and throws body shots, has done better and will do better when he rematches Floyd!

Thats the rematch that needs to happen, Mayweather-Cotto 2!! That was ALOT BETTER then the Pacquiao fight. plus

There are match-up issues for Mayweather if Pacquiao can will himself to use volume and risk losing some rounds in the process. He's still capable of swamping Mayweather IMO. Mayweather can be swamped, and Pacquiao's defence and reflexes are still good. He needs to cross the rubicon in a rematch and try to actually get it done. I don't know how serious his shoulder problems are and that's a big question mark.

I'm all over Mayweather-Cotto II and would love to see it, and it would be good for business. There are a few fights which I think would sell really well regardless of how much we here actually want to see the rematches, and those are: Cotto, Alvarez, Pacquiao.

Khan or Thurman would still sell and be good fights, but they won't sell as well. I think both Khan and Thurman could make a fight interesting with Floyd, but they wouldn't be favoured. They are young men though with battery power to spare.

at the very MINIMUM pac won 4 rounds even if you are a *****.

manny was the aggressor and landed the bigger shots. I don't know how compubox says floyd landed more power shots.

I agree Pac might be hungrier, more determined, or more willing to take risks. But I just think his footwork is too slow and too poor at this point. He once had brilliant footwork - 7 years ago - but now his footwork is mediocre at best, in the context of his approach style developed under the tutelage of Roach.

Given Pac's inadequate feet, I think it winds up being almost an exact replica of their first fight, with Pac being too slow, and becoming too tentative when he begins eating jabs and counters.

Pac knew he had to throw a lot of punches - but he wasn't willing to because Floyd was popping him and earning his respect - this happened in the opening 30 seconds or so. Many Floyd foes react in the same fashion - they don't want to get popped with shots they can't see coming.

Plus, Pac these days reminds me of MAB from later in his career, like his bout with JMM. He just isn't willing to go through fire the way he was in his younger years, which is natural, and he also lacks the physical tools and instincts that once made him great.

I agree with the spirit of your post in a sense, but once Floyd's in front of him again, I think Pac will be apt to repeat the same failed steps he underwent first time around, and his slow feet will be his bane.

Stop spamming the forum with your exclamatory emotional posts because you can't handle other people's opinions.

No one is going to agree with you so just quit, you're wasting your time.

Who is dumber #48 who can't read yes/no checkboxes or his fans? They admit having to watch the fight in slow motion because their limited brains can only process 1 frame per second.
