Porter / Broner to be fought @ 144

This catchweight stuff is complete nonsense seeing as both the welter and light-welter divisions are absolutely stacked right now

Pick a division, and fight in it. It's Adrien Broner ffs. It's not like we're talking about Floyd/Pac who have to find opponents 2 weight divisions above to make an interesting match up

If Broner doesn't want to fight full-blown welters he should go back down to 140 and fight Matthysse/Khan/Provo

 

yeah but broner has a advisor and management team. they want broner at 140, he has to put on weight to make 147 while others have to lose 20 pounds to make 147. they are gun ho at making broner a champ at 140. after that he will bounce around from 140 and 147. i dont know if they are trying to spare him, throw him to the wolves or what :huh
his trainer (cutman) goes to the same barer shop as me. we always talk boxing and broner. his cutman smokes loud as well lol, we was smoking that pressure in the barber shop. i think broner just needs to stay at 140 and fight lucas,provodnikov,vargas,crawford,dulmore. those are good fights for him, i dont like him fighting jr mw drained or not. he was at 135 5 fights ago

 

I can see Porter using pressure like Maidana but with the weight I think the Can Man has the advantage over Porter

Now If AB starts slowing down and admiring his punches Porter might catch him but that's a big MIGHT:deal

I don't see the big deal in having the catch weight. They fight in two different divisions. Porter's side doesn't seem to have a problem with it.

i doubt it, if maidana aint stop him i know lucas and provod cant. those winnable fights for him. it dont have to be as hard as he makes it. crawford is the only guy at 140 that can prolly beat broner an thats not a given either.
