Even besides Ward and Froch I see some good, competitive fights for GGG at super middle. He's already cleaned out MW as far as I'm concerned, beaten everyone that's had the nuts to fight him, why not make the move on up? Would be much more exciting to have him as a player at 168 instead of 160.

I don't see anyone from 154 - 168 beating GGG at this point.

Ehhhhh Froch was looking for an American PPV to retire on his people went to HBO they said a GGG-Froch fight wasn't PPV so it didn't happen. Saying Froch said no is like when GGGs camp says Ward isn't PPV so the fight won't happen. So is GGG saying no to Ward? Is he ducking Ward? No he is not and Froch isn't ducking GGG either.

Edit: I want to reserve judgement on GGG at 168 until he fights a solid contender at 168.

Hopefully he says no to stepping aside and fights Cotto or Cotto vacates. If he steps aside he is either stupid ( Cotto won't fight him and already said no one can make him do anything) or it's not a matter of people being scared of him it's a matter of a completely mismanaged career. Most of the blame should be on him for it because he has been treated this way before so he should know better.

@ SMW triple G is a dwarf, Ward would box his head, Froch would would just simply out tough him. He's just too small to clear out @ 168.

I agree, I think his success at super middle would be severely limited.

As I think Wards would be at light heavy, and Canelo at middle.

What is that GGG go to 168 hunt about, there is 0,0 Need for him to go there!

There are still 3 belts at 160 to collect and also interesting match ups with Cotto, Canelo, Lemieux or even Mayweather way below 168!!!

    Also to add,

Golovkin doesnt even weigh 168 30 days out from his fights.... its really not a shocker that he wont dominate a division hes not meant to fight in in the first place.

Not everyone is meant for division jumping, despite what todays A.D.D fans think.

Explain them, Kirk. You jump divisions as your body grows. Skinny YOUNG fighters with large frame have a potential to go from one weight to another naturally as they MATURE.

I'd say though that for GGG to go to 168 would be ok as he fought those guys in the amateurs at 165 successfully. It would be a stretch for him to grow into the LHW though simply because his frame is too small for it.
When GGG was young he wasn't skinny nor tall to start campaigning in one weight and grow through several ones.
