He won clearly but didn't do much of anything lots of jabs but less then normal, hardly any big right hands and the left hook kept missing but has wlad faded or did he decide to perform at say 70% of his abilities rather then 100%

    Yup.

The fight played out pretty much how I thought it would, he was just in with an opponent that would give him problems at this stage of his career (to me Wlad has digressed a bit in terms of actual ability) and of course the ref making him fight fair which we dont normally see made things more uncomfortable for him then would otherwise have been the case.

Wlad was 100% against Jennings... its just his current 100 isnt the same as his past 100's, im sure. But more importantly, he has huge holes in his game that come to light more against an opponent like Jennings, especially when hes forced to fight fair.

Yea he wasn't allowed to clinch and rest as much as he has become accustomed to in Europe but that was the 1 thing that impressed me also Jennings created a lot of the clinches to score body shots

To win at 39 in the US is impressive a lot of great heavies were finished at 39 he isn't finished but has declined to a degree

The last couple of fights have shown that he's clearly on the side. His main weapon (the jab) has been traded in for trying to hook of it again, wich works pretty fine when he fights tall or so-so opponents. I don't think we'll see him in 2017.

Seriously? You're taking the odd one out to compare him to Wlad. How about comparing him to 39 year old Ali instead?! Or 39 year old Tyson, or Frazier, maybe Louis?!
Foreman had a huge punch and an iron chin, and had always been slow not using too much athletic ability.
By the way, I'm one of the big old Foreman fans around here, but he got lit up at the end of his career by light punching Schultz.

Maybe Jennings is a great athlete and he studied Wlad very well so he could avoid his big left hook or straight right. But it was pointless for wlad to clinch that much, Jennings didn't seem to have the power to hurt him.

He did what he has to do to win the fight, after it showed that Jennings is more of a dangerous Opponent then Pulev was before.

We will see him knocking his next Opponent brutally out within 6 rounds.

A 2,06m slow Body that can foul, arm Punch and trash talk all day all night.. and performing Elvis Songs :deal

If he struggled with Jennings then Fury will most likely beat him

There's nothing to expose Fury is a superior boxer to wlad and is going to make him (and over half this forum) look very silly

    Yeah , he did.

He's just a better clinch master than he is a box master.

What you saw is what you get if you take away his illegal clinch.
