Over at the Scene - Holyfield-Romney I just had to post this --> wow! :yikes http://www.***********.com/photos-holyfield-gets-dropped-stops-romney-two--91088 Any chance our desperate-for-votes t-shock might try a similar stunt here? Has Endas PA got Katie Taylors number? See a few photos down - Romney doing the old pro trick, stepping on Holyfields foot while landing the right hand. Very slick. These politicos fight dirty - but then we knew that already!!
if katie had the chance to share the ring with mr nice guy enda... she would knock the fcuk clean out him.. and not pull any punches as holyfield did with romney:good
Now THATS a fight I would pay to see.... We might be onto something here Fra....in a hung parliament a box-off for Taoiseach. Gerry v Enda. :bbb Dunno would Gerry be able for him though....blondie is a doity bastid!
a mismatch of the highest order... the brits threw everything at gerry and couldnt beat him... gerry would eat and s.h.i.t.e a c0ck like kenny wat about triple G against Lee... andys up for it...and would have a punchers chance:good
No, I'm not in favour of GGG V Andy cos its pointless. A massacre, with Andy at serious risk of getting hurt. See how he dismantled Willie Munroe....and Willie is a slick boxer with lots of smarts. As was Geale. to some extent too. Both had the good sense to 'quit', when it was obvious they were doomed and before serious harm was done. Andy could get hurt. I dont want to see that. But whats the story with Andys injury?
Andy would be the biggest puncher he has faced though so at least it would be intresting while it lasts, he has a strange style has GGG nothing spectacular but he hits like a mule and is relentless, his techniche leaves a lot to be desired though and he doesnt look to fast but he is just made of granite ! Honestly think Canelo will beat him if they meet.
Still haven't got my ticket for next Saturday (with Spike on the Dirrell vs. DeGale undercard) - waiting on a friend who said they may pick them up, but haven't gotten around to it yet.. Giving them another day, tops. :err
I thought about going to that, but decided on the Ensiferum/Korpiklaani show this weekend instead. Have a feeling that fight is going to be a stinker, but it's a meaningful fight and the best that's taken place here in quite some time. As far as I know at least.
Does anyone know how good Tj Doheny is? He is operating very much under the radar at the moment, but he's amassed a solid 11-0 record and a got a world ranking to boot, while fighting what seems to be decent enough competition. He's ranked 42 in the world on boxrec and ive never so much as seen a single clip of him fighting though. All the rest of our lads fighting in Australia all seem to be unknown over here to.
Its early days yet, but I think Ken Casey is doing a solid job with Spike and I wish more of our lads would sign with him.
