It has nothing to do with with him winning or losing nor is it about him being black and successful. High profile people like him have their share of haters, but I think its safe to say that when he has more haters thans supporters especially in his own country the problem is him.

No company wants to be associated with a POS like Mayweather that's why he has no endorsements. Just face it Alex you worship a loser , the dregs of society. I truly feel sorry for you:patsch

Yeah he's arrogant and might have hit women but you can't take away from his skills in the ring. Top 10 ATG for sure

I class boxing as boxing, you know aiming to hit someone. Not running.

The idea of a boxer is to hit and not get hit, you're suppose to create action in the ring, whilst nullifying your opponents attack. When you simply run all night, and then when you finally get trapped, headlock, clinch (which is illegal), then thats just survival point scoring mode. Thats not boxing.

Back in the days Floyd would have lost the match by a landslide due to judging criteria favoring the aggressor. Nowadays the amateur scoring system translating into the pros has made boxing very boring.

All that booing has turned PBF into one of the richest athletes in world history. He couldn't care less. PBF has plenty of fans I can assure you. PBF changing his tactic and becoming a villain was nothing short of brilliant. When he first started his career he was humble but no one took notice he was largely overlooked despite the fact he was putting on some of the best clinics of the era. He saw media fighters like Gatti and Oscar get all the glory and he knew he was better than them. So when he finally got a chance on the big stage against Gatti he trashed him in the media and put a demolition job on him in the ring. He started to become hated every since that day and he made the right decision to do this.

LOL almost half of america is black.
Not quite, its because floyd is a jackass of the first order and is nothing besides a great defensive fighter who exploits his gift to just do enough to win rounds and outpoint opponents, without inflicting any damage, nor any excitement or any real offense.

Pretty sure if he didn't run so much, clinch, hold, hug and headlock he would have gotten respect. Biggest stage, world is watching and he decided to dance like a fairy. The world came on to see boxing, look up the history of boxing to see what is truly means, not a guy running for his life. If this is a fight, and one guy is running yet nobody is hurting anyone, how can the guy running away be the winner?

Floyd got a lot more respect after the Mosley fight, where he brought the fight to Mosley and had Mosley backing off.

Doesn't have cojones? He's stepped up to every challenge and faced fighters everyone thought he wouldn't.

Floyd cried because he werent appreciated, and threw tantrums at reporters when they question his greatness. I'm sure he cares.

GTFO of here with that. top 10!??? Yea his Defense is top 10, but what else does he have? Who else has he beat? What has he done, aside from spar 95% b-c rated fighters his entire career. As boxing fans of this generation, we must look totally re****ed as a whole to the past ones that were around during Ray, Robinson, Ali, Duran etc. Even the 90s which I was around for and were better fighters than Floyd is. That's why I laugh when I see **** like like this. Floyd wouldn't have gone through prime Oscar, Mosley, Trindad, Forrest, Quartey, Whitaker etc without losing atleast a couple times. These guys offensive abilities were spectacular enough to get through Floyd's D. Not all of those names, but a few of them.
