GGG has the best resume of all fighters at 160 lbs, and that is a fact. How damaged does one have to be to continuously call his opposition "tomato cans" considering 2 of his last 3 opponents were top 5 guys at his weight, is beyond me.

Haven't seen a fighter fight so many bums yet receive so many accolades from fanboys like this since Vitali Klitschko.

Thing is, GGG can't fight like Floyd - he's wide open, he gets hit a hell of a lot and while he's powerful and a pretty quick mover, there are all sorts of flaws in his fundamentals to be exploited.

This guy would have lost to the 40 yr old Hopkins.

Please list the "all sorts of flaws" beside the fact that he lets himself get hit by weak punchers that appear to never phase him.

Jeff Lacy always showed the desire to be great. That's why travelled to England even though he had the backing of Showtime and didn't need to take such risk at that stage of his career. You can't say the same for Golovkin. He's happy crushing cans and calling out fighters whose careers started 5 divisions below with the support of moronic fans like you.

I suspect tomorrow after the fight you will be here preaching to us how Golovkin's is the greatest thing since slice bread. You know, everybody look good crushing can. I can give you so many examples if you want.

He showed the will to be great and was exposed as a huge hype job by the american public. As was shawn porter when brook beat him. Golovkin has beaten better opposition than lacy already. Pre joe and post joe. So why you floyd fans so scared and defensive, just keep loving floyd, incessant hating of GGG makes you look like a pack of re****s.

I'm not even a huge golovkin fan, I am a fan. But I prefer thurman and kovalev.

The way he moves in straight lines towards his opponent, the way he drops his hands when throwing combinations and has no care/concern about defending himself due to his opponents invariably being too scared to throw back at him, the fact that every single opponent he's faced has landed flush on him, the fact that he never really sets up opponents on the end of his jab in order to throw the combinations.

There is a lot to like about him, no doubt, but there are flaws in his game that someone like a prime Hopkins would've had fun exploiting.

Golovkin shouldn't even be brought into conversation with Floyd, they're two weight classes separated from one another, that fight never happens, so please, do us a favour and **** off.

That's true and if Monroe is smart and has good stamina he can give ggg problems. I see flaws in gennadys game he's not a perfect fighter by any means.
What I don't understand is hopkins best mw wins were welterweight and jmw's. As were some of haglers.
Let's see if the fighters around the mw division are as confident to move up.

I wouldn't give a shiit about Golovkin if you fans boys wasn't hyping him up while disrespecting fighters that have actually done things in the sports that are more than crushing cans. Look whom you comparing Golovkin to. A fighter whose career has spanned close to 20 years and who have been on the pfp list since 1997.

At about Golovkin's age Floyd had already established himself to the hall of and had conquered four weight classes while establishing himself as pfp the best fighter in the world.

You say he's a small middleweight but I'm yet to see an opponent of he's with size advantage over him. his best opponent till date is Daniel freaking Gale. Beating Daniel Gale qualifies you to fight the best fighter in the world. You can't make this **** up.

Rubio and Murray were clearly bigger than golovkin. Id also say murray is better than geale.
Ive not made claims of GGG being the best or a small middleweight, so people like you floyd fans need to button it. :yep
GGG has said he can fight like floyd, We know he cant why are you getting your panties in a bunch, you poor sensitive soul. :blood

Who is the WBC, WBA and Ring Champion at 154...the weight GGG is willing to fight Mayweather at (which is one division below GGG's)?
