And who are those heavies exactly? Wlad has already beaten Jennings, Chambers, Thompson x2. you don't honestly believe that windmill or any of the other heavvies floating around could beat him do you?

Wilder beats Jennings. And he would beat Wlad in a year or two. Wilder just needs a few more fights.

its immaterial how he performed since Jennings was a basic nothing defence. a weak defence by hw standards.

    aha you list -

    1. Jennings, a rank outsider
    2. chambers, a poster boy with no pedigree for achievement, and an "IBU" title.
    3. Thompson, the infamous near 40something who was somehow a valid challenger for the world title. TWICE.

you don't believe that retired, never-title holder shot2shyt corrise sanders could destroy wlad in seconds either. your belief has no bearing on what happened also, thankfully, with the American journeymen who destroyed wlad whe he stepped up against them.

I don't think the HW scene in the USA is much, for the record.

Wlad is in decline. He also came in too light against Jennings at 241. His punch was affected. Jennings may also be a very good opponent. We'll learn more about him going forward.
Wlad's experience and technical expertise may carry him for a few more fights but it is going to be more difficult in the very near future for him to stay on top.

He performed as well as today's Wlad could. Jenning moved well and avoided the left hooks and big right hands with upper body movement and fast feet. It took Wladimir a while to figure out how to fight without clinching but in the last couple of rounds he got his rhythm going and finished the fight like a champ.

That said, I think Fury will give him problems too with his movement and reach. Wilder will be an even more difficult fight because of Deontay's power.
