Not a high risk kind of fighter. Against the Ibraminovs/Povetkin/Jennigs's etc. he seems to take the easier route if available. But he has appeared to hold grudges here and there, Pulev being a previous example, where he seems to want to KTFO someone. I look froward to the Fury spectacle.
Why? Pulev, although touted as a threat, was no more a threat than Chaegav (or however it is spelled). Jennings actually moved side to side; poor Pulev stood in front of Wlad, left hand raised above his head, right ****ed low, inching towards Klitschko in an aggressive manner.
Yea Jennings had better head movement and chin but wlad as a so called elite boxer should have made the adjustments
Foreman's resume during the late 80s makes Wilder's look like an ATG. As does Briggs current resume. At least old timers like Holyfield and McCall, while making attempt at title shots, were taking fights vs top 30s on a fairly regular basis. MOF, Ollie McCall, win or lose, has fought some of his toughest opponents after his 40th birthday.:think
Wlad looked pretty bad against Jennings. He should have blown him away early, but then again Wlad learned he doesn't have to take risks to win. It was nice to see how Wlad went into demolish Jennigns a bit harder in the 12th. I wish he started this in round 3, not 12.
Yup 100% fact is jennings deserves credit moved well made it hard for Wlad to land, i know Fury fans are now deluded that Wlad is shot lol you will see he is fine when he KTFO Fury. Jennings had game plan and sticked to it and made Wlad look bad while Pulev came without gameplan and stood straight in front of power puncher and made Wlad look great, styles make fights and Wlad will look amazing vs Fury!
