did you see that article about the toradol, its dodgy stuff, makes you feel like you can run through anything, nfl players used to use it, malignaggi was saying he should have tried a cortisone injection

I will keep saying it, I wanted Pacquiao to win. Just need to make it clear I'm not some delusional Mayweather fan in this sometimes ridiculous war of words between the two sets of fans.

    1. You said it "Floyd won" and that is all that matters, looking good or great at his age and at this stage of his career is unimportant, it was all about the W and Mayweather got it.
Biggest fight of all time (money wise) and Mayweather did what he had to do.

Mayweather didn't do much because he didn't need to, I will repeat, Mayweather didn't have to do much to beat Pacquiao on the night.

Mayweather has given us similar performances in the past, just cruising to a W with not much excitement. Why are people surprised?

    2. The shoulder injury didn't stop Pacquiao training, throwing the right hand, didn't stop him raising his arms and twisting his arms around his back at the weigh in pointing at a message on the back of his tshirt.
Also most boxers fight injured, it happens very often and to be fair the only person to blame for him fighting with any injury is Pacquiao himself.

This excuse has done nothing but harm Pacquiao, he should have taken the defeat like a man, you seem to forget other excuses, wrong socks, leg cramps... The list goes on, the man has previous for making excuses.

That's strange, Floyd's dad didn't agree with you during the fight and watching from the corner. He didn't know what was wrong with floyd to the point he kept asking "what is wrong, why are you fighting scared?", he was all over floyd almost between every round. He knew Pac was right there with him and the fight was extremely close and could have easily been a draw with judges that give credit to the man coming forward, doing more damage and landing the harder punches, even if its fewer landed than opponent.

Anyone that thinks that fight was 118-110, needs to stop watching boxing and go take up another sport.

So psychological games played in a corner are an accurate description of what is actually happening?

Go watch the full fight between Chavez Sr Vs Taylor and listen to Lou Duva at the end of the 11th round.
Tell me Duva was spot on. Corners sometimes play games for all sorts of reasons.

The fight was not close, the scorecards didn't have it close, almost all excellent judges of boxing didn't have it close, even some that picked Pacquiao.

Pacquiao lost, he knew he lost, Roach knew he lost, the atmosphere at the fight told a blind man Pacquiao lost.

It is really about time Pacquiao fans accepted it with good grace and moved on.

This must be the losers lounge because the conversation is about one loser being ok with another loser's excuse and hating on a winner. Then losing posters trying to validate the whole web of excuses with their own. It's a sad affair.

That's an easy call until you are the guy and it's the biggest money fight in history.

No fighter's chances were improved by taking an injury into a bout. Naturally Pacquiao would have been able to throw more punches and contest better if he'd gone in fully fit.

I agree, Pacquaio was in an impossible situation - no way, no how does his style ever beat Floyd Mayweather Jr's style.

    1. WRONG! Floyd didn't do more because Pacquiao didn't allow him to! It's a joke to think Floyd didn't land more or try to KO Pac just because 'he didn't need to'.
    a. Floyd landed well below his usual % because Pac was not easy to hit - head movement, foot work
    b. Floyd didn't get more aggressive because he FELT Pac's speed and power. Floyd himself said Pac was fast and was impressed with Pac. What happened is that the minute Floyd felt Pac's speed and power, he resorted to fight extra defensively and run. He walked Canelo down more than he walked Pac down! Floyd definitely felt he had to keep his distance and not engage Pac in exchanges, the 4th round was a reality check. After Pac landed that left (out of nowhere), Floyd decided he will just run and keep a distance. Floyd Sr. himself scolded Jr. 'You are fighting scared' Floyd Jr even admitted 'Pac wasn't easy, i couldn't do what my dad wanted me to do.

So it's a complete joke to think Floyd didn't do more cause he just didn't need to - HE WANTED TO, but Pac was too dangerous.

    2. Shoulder injury. Again, is surgeon lying? was surgery fake? Pac HAD a problem and this is why he stopped sparring when he felt pain. He asked for a shot before the fight, why? Now, the shoulder injury wasn't severe enough to make him stop, he could still use his arm and fighters have to just suck it up, he probably felt he could still perform well but wanted a shot pre-fight to alleviate pain. In the end though, an injury that prevents you from throwing more against Floyd is not a good thing. Floyd makes you run and miss a lot so he's probably the most difficult opponent to fight if you have an injury in your shoulder.

I'd probably not listen to anything Malignaggi says. He's an idiot.

Furthermore, USADA approved it. The end.

Cortisone doesn't work with certain injuries. For example, if you have a pulled hamstring, cortisone won't work. If you have a torn tendon in your shoulder, cortisone probably wouldn't work either, but that's my guess. If Toradol was approved by USADA for Pacquiao to use, then I'd listen to them over Paulie.

Pac was beat deal with it #noexcuses

What happen to the 100 punches a round?
What happen to the faster feet then floyd? according to Roach
What happen to the Thor like power?
What happen to the faster then light movement ?

It was all made irrelevant and turned into an excuses.

Was that Pac raising his Arm in victory after the Match ? Naw couldn't be, he has a torn rotor cuff . It would be impossible for him to raise in arm and not wince in pain

    All smiles coming from Pac!!

Fight could be scored anywhere fron 8-4 to 10-2 Floyd. Wasn't close. Move on.
