Stop making **** up you jackass. If it were me that fight would be a draw or I'd penalize both for a sharty ass fight.
Actually some opinions are wrong how the **** does BlzzyBlizz know empirically that Monroe didn't belong in the ring with GGG, he actually has a better recent record than Rubio and Murray. Rubio had just beaten Spada who was average at best. Dionisio Miranda, Marcus Upshaw and Michel Rosales all of whom have a combined record of 25 losses. Rubio is good but hadn't been in there with anyone worth a damn since Chavez Jr. ad his worth is debatable at this point. Murray looked like absolute hell against Khomitsky in my opinion he lost the match, Spada again, Tettah who's not very good and he looked slightly decent against Bursak. As far as the Martinez match goes Sergio was badly diminished in that match too. Monroe on the other hand has looked fantastic recently in case you haven't seen him there is an incredibly talented at the time undefeated MW named Brandon Adams he schooled him, Vitaly Kopylenko undefeated as well, he made him look like an amateur, shut out Vera far more impressively the JCCJr and legit dropped him and almost stopped him and Donatas Bondrovas who's a talent who only ha one loss at the time from a cut. Monroe is an incredibly skilled very talented fighter, just because many of you don't know much about the sport beyond the mainstream that means many of may not accurately know what the **** you're talking about.
Everyone knew this would be an early night, but the guy is at least fighting 4 times a year, and fought the second best MW in Murray last fight so how much can you really criticize him? I'll be the first to admit that I wasn't happy with Monroe, but if he was coming off fighting like a JoJo Dan, and didn't fight 3 times a year I'd definitely be ****ed.
I will keep on watching GGG fights. There doesnt seem to be a way to beat him at Middle. Im still watching his opponants to see if any of them can even cause him the least bit of trouble. Monroe is a slick skilled boxer, he was NEVER guna beat GGG but i wanted to see if he had a good plan to atleast give him some probems. On this occasion he didnt. Half the punches GGG took he seemed to want to take. Im not in the USA, i dont know if that was a PPV event. Im not sure id be dishing out PPV money to watch a fight like that but over here it wasnt. I think he is guna have to step up to Super Middle before he starts facing opponants that have a chance.
Murray isn't the second best MW, I rate Lee, Lemieux and BJS and in terms of difficulty to beat, many of the upcoming prospects are superior to Murray like Khytrov, Murata, Quigley could pose a threat just based on their punching power alone. Murray deserves a ton of credit for his gutsy performance but he's not that great.
I agree with that and in fact even wrote his manager to tell GGG to not do that nonsense. He is doing it deliberately, I believe, so that he can lure other big names into the ring with him. You notice he didn't do it when Monroe was still "live." He basically waited until Monroe was sufficiently hurt that he felt he couldn't hurt him. He wanted to appear vulnerable, that he could be hit. He knows this will bring some guys to the table.
He was rated 2nd on ring, and most lists before the fight. I rate Murray higher than all 3 of those guys, and had him 2nd before the fight tied with Quillin. Lemieux is incredibly unproven, as is BJS. I rate Quillin above all 3of those guys, and I had Quillin beating Lee.
Lol.... vera is no world beater,, i thought mora beat him in the second fight and the first one was hell of close.....GGG got taken past what everybody thought it would go and monro made a name for himself tonight... i myself thought he would go late but knew he wouldnt sustain the heavy shots of GGG.... i just want to see GGG fight someone good that way i can understand what the hypes about..... Just as any other fan of the sport i want competitive type fights.... But the main stream fans are the ones thinking GGG is the **** when he hasnt fought 1 elite name yet... it is what it is...
In truth, Monroe was probably a better stay-busy opponent than the last couple have been- and the fact that he put up a better fight than legit contenders like Geale and Rubio is an indicator that he's not all that far from their level.
Absolutely. Especially at this point of his career. I don't know why anyone would credit him for beating Vera, majority had Monroe easily winning. Rosado destroyed him before that fight ffs lmao.
I don't care what the rankings are, they don't hold very much water with me, and I agree with you Quillin is overall better than Murray, as is N'Dam, however Lemieux's wins over common opponents with Quillin point to him being the superior of the two, I'm not saying that as an absolute fact but it looks that way. Lee-Quillin was rightfully a draw, and you badly underrate Billy Joe.
No one is ever satisfied around here, they all want to see GGG face a slick talented defensive counter puncher and when he does, still you all complain, also the fact that no matter what Monroe did in the way of fighting intelligently off the backfoot, GGG cut off the ring so amazingly that he gave up on that strategy after round 2. As far as how FMJ would do fighting against GGG, which he's not, his style is all right for GGG, he would be destroyed.
