Lara's main attribute is making use of what he won't have against GGG, footwork.

 

Lara, most likely his manager though, always calls out fighters on twitter. He probably knows this fight won't happen unless they convince Haymon to let them fight on HBO and even then who knows if HBO would welcome Haymon fighters. There is so many things preventing this fight.

GGG ko's Lara. GGG is really good at cutting off the ring and Lara doesn't have the inside game or volume punching to make GGG think or worry him imo. Lara is mainly a 1-2 boxer, doesn't use combination punching that often. GGG would just need to cut the distance and not let Lara fight on the outside.

Lara can't even speak English, you do realize that he can't possibly have typed that? That being said I wouldn't mind Lara vs Golovkin.

 

Monroe defense isn't in lara level I'm sorry and lara hits harder then Monroe and way more experience in big fights. I can see lara frustrated ggg. Canelo beat a way better fighter in lara while ggg beat freaking very none experience that hits like Paulie in Monroe.

Lara made Angulo quit, and softened him up for Canelo.

Okay, but last night's showing didn't give me the impression that an outside mover/boxer type would be a particularly troublesome stylistic matchup for GGG, Monroe had far more success "toughing it out" with GGG.

If Lara tried to box like he did against Canelo he'd get knocked out, just my opinion. It takes a more versatile approach to beat GGG, you need to be able to smother his punches and don't give him space, this is something that Ward is an expert at.

 

Maybe but I at least hope they do throw Lara a serious offer, think it would be a competitive fight with Ggg being favourite.

Lara is a Haymon fighter, and all he does is call out Golden Boy fighters (as Golden boy is suing Haymon for 300 million, that aint happening), or HBO fighters (who won't work with Haymon and vice versa.

As soon as somebody he can fight calls him out (Andrade), he shuts up.

He calls out GGG because he CANT fight him! he's brave alright.

He doesn't make mention of Andrade or Charlo? why - cause they are in his stable and those fights are realistic and they both beat him like every other quality fighter he ever fought
