Who, in your opinion, was the scariest fighter ever? Who were some fighters who other fighters dreaded to fight?
Well, I guess obvious choices are Liston, Foreman and Tyson. Duran was intimidating. I know that intimidating is probably the wrong word here, but how about Aaron Pryor? Fighters must have known they were about to enter into hell and damnation. SRR has the most vicious intent I've ever seen from a fighter in the ring.. I'm talking about expressions that are made as fighters punch and their general manner in the ring. Nobody looked more hell-bent than SRR. Duran looked often quite alert and in control when producing his sweet science but SRR looked consistently vicious and committed to his offence more than any other ATG I can think of.
Tyson, Liston, and Foreman at heavyweight. Duran at lightweight. Gerald McClellan at middleweight. Kovalev or Moore at light heavyweight. Ruben Olivares at bantam. Robinson or Hearns at welterweight. Jimmy Wilde at flyweight.
Good list. Tyson and Foreman in their youths had the facial expression where you'd think they would stab you to death for a petty reason.
Liston for me. Police broke batons over his head, and his wrists were so thick they couldn't get cuffs on him.
This question has one answer. I dont want to hear any bs about Foreman,duran,liston or pryor. The only answer is MIKE TYSON! END OF STORY! Many people would **** their pants when Tyson walked into a room. It still happens nowadays.
