Floyd Mayweather vs Danny Garcia needs to happen next. It would be great for both.

Khan is a risky fight to really beat khan you need to have power if you don't khan will just have his way.

Khan is very fast faster than the 36 year old pac Mayweather fought.

 

Danny Garcia is a horrible decision for Floyd. I think Brook, Thurman, or Khan are good decisions.

 

This really gives you an idea on how great Mayweather is. I think he'd dismantle Garcia at any weight. Garcia is in the peak of his prime right now, and Floyd is closing in on 40.

the handspeed and footwork would be way too much for Swift to deal with. Also the ring experience, boxing IQ, punch accuracy, defense.

I'm actually trying to think of what Garcia does better in the ring than Floyd. I guess he has a better counter hook than Mayweather, if that counts for anything.

That's a guy I think Mayweather could close the show on with a knockout/TKO stoppage. He's WAY too slow for Floyd.

 

Here we go again. Floyd fans are so scared of King Khan that they are desperate for Floyd to fight someone else

 

First off, Khan is no King.

Second off, Garcia knocked Khan out not too long ago. Khan should be calling out the guys that beat him, and not the kingpin of a division he just began to campaign in.

And Lastly, FLoyd could pick whoever he wants for his final fight. If it isn't going to be Cotto or Golovkin, it'll be considered a disappointment anyway.

 

After the May 2 debacle this fight would be lucky to get 700K PPV. As big as Floyf is the May 2 fight pîssed a lot of fans. I'd say 600K PPV. Unless Pac/Matthysse is the co-headline.

 

Its not about that. Its another easy win against an average guy that has been exposed twice already and on paper him being undefeated makes floyd look good. Floyd fans dont like their idol to take on any real challenges.

My thinking is Floyd/Cotto 2 happens in sept.

 

Well mayweather is guaranteed a 32 million dollar payday by SHowtime plus a portion of the PPV revenue, so its in SHowtime's best interest to get him in with the marquis names.

A rematch with Canelo or Cotto for September would sell better than anything else out there.

 

If Floyd fights anyone other than king khan then it's just proved that Floyd is a chicken who has ducked Khan for some time.

Ok, so just so we can be clear here, are you saying if Floyd ends up fighting Canelo Alvarez at the full 154 lbs or Cotto for the lineal MW title in Septmeber, that he's ducking Amir Khan?

 

Absolutely no one wants to see this fight. I'd rather see Floyd against DSG's daddy, Herrera.
