does he face ggg before the end of the year? or will they milk the belt first?....would love to see this fight for christmas, be a great fan friendly fight. after watching a lot of ggg fights, i notice he is sloppy when he is slugging it out on the inside, round 2 of the fight last night was a good example....i think that makes the fight all the more interesting vs lemieux, who has short arms and as great on the inside, expecially with that left hook...he just need to work on his combos... either way i see ggg winning this fight, but i do see lemieux as having a better than good punchers chance in this one
I would have David as slight underdog v HNN. While his power is awesome, he is quite limited and 1-dimensioal.
There's absolutely no way Lemieux beats GGG, not even a punchers chance. His powers not all that it's cracked up to be and if you can't hang with Alcine(a badly faded version at that) or Rubio you don't have a chance against GGG. I think Lee has a much better punchers chance against GGG, and would probably spark Lemieux if they were to meet.
Lee doesn't have a better chance. Lemieux is compact and is fast and knows how to get on the inside. And, frankly, he is better skilled than Lee overall.
Golovkin butchers all of them. While that may sound like fan-boy gushing it really isn't. For various reasons (styles match-up, chins) there just isn't a top middleweight in the mix who doesn't receive "molodyets" and pat on the head.
I haven't seen anything to suggest him being better than Lee. Lee's losses have been far less embarrassing than Lemieux, Acline and Rubio is much worse than losing to Chavez and Vera(both fights Lee was winning, and the Vera stoppage was very poor) Lately Lee has been far more impressive, his come from behind wins over Jackson, Korobov and gutsy draw against Quillin triumph anything Lemieux has done in his career. If they were to fight I'm sure it wouldn't be easy for Lee, but he would find a way to land his money punch and get Lemieux out of there. :good
Yeah I agree as any sensible person would. But my boy Andy Lee has the best chance punchers chance in the division, NO ONE can take the right hook flush at MW and survive to tell the tale. :deal
I believe the plan is to have GGG fight again in September and December. That's 2 chances for the other titlists to get it as long as they stay active. Have to wait and see if the IBF grants a voluntary or orders up a mandatory for the winner.
