Yep, he was clearly above Brewsters level.

a pro boxer with 10 years on the clock and plenty fights, soon to turn 30, knws when to pace himself.

if you are telling us that wlad didn't know how to pace himself and cover up to rest, then fare enough you may claim that wlad was such a terrible boxer that he hadn't learned these simple things by this stage in his career.

Being physically not right and gassing out unloading on Brewster for 5 rounds then being tripped by the ref does not equate to getting destroyed.

wlad was tripped by the ref now as well as being poisoned!!

    haha! this is awesome.

perhaps the ref was the one who did the poisoning seeing as he was keen to trip wlad. Or was it colonel mustaard?

    priceless.

Colonel Sanders beat the **** out of Wlad way better. Sanders made Wlad look like a pathetic fighter. What a prolonged beatdown that was. Wlad's brother was much better. Wlad is a bore and fights like a stiff robot. He hits hard and paws/jabs ok, but he fights scared after his traumatic experiences with fighters like Sanders. Wlads been knocked out two many times to be considered a great. Anybody half decent would knock him out and have him running looking for blood pressure medication.

Watch the tape.....he gets tripped by Byrd and then the fight is waved off as he barely gets up. Brewster didn't put him on the floor.

Didn't Vitali willingly drug himself thereby preventing himself for being eligible to fight at the olympics? The old leg injury excuse is obviously BS too.

Anyone thinking he was actually drugged is ret.arded.

Fact, Wlad has gassed before, this isn't a unique situation.

Fact, Wlad was going for the KO, he was throwing a lot of power punches and using up a lot of energy pushing Brewster about when he wasn't punching him.

Fact, Wlad's team could have simply picked up the samples from Quest labs and had it independently tested to look for any signs of poisoning, despite repeated request from Quest labs they failed to do so. Why, perhaps because they knew the results would be negative.

Fact, Wlad and his team were throwing out excuses, they also fired the veteran cut man Joe Souza saying he sabotaged Wlad by applying too much vaseline making him overheat. So what was the reason for his loss, poisoning or too much vaseline, get your story/excuses straight.

Fact, yes the blood sugar was high but not high enough for the EMT's or doctors to be concerned. After exercise would you have a sugary drink? Yes and would this raise your blood sugar level, answer is yes. Also wouldn't an EMT give a glucose drip to somebody suffering from dehydration or exhaustion, answer yes. The high blood sugar was not significant and easily explainable.

Fighters that lose, especially unexpectedly throw out excuses, whether it be cramps, a bad toe, a bad shoulder or in this case poisoning. This is no different, they needed to spin it to make it seem not so bad, it's why they hired Judd Bernstein so soon after the fight, to spin the story to confuse the situation and only the idiots or those easily susceptible to suggestion fell or it.

Running out of gas and getting stopped should never be confused with being drugged.

Nothing, they found nothing. Only discrepancy was a high blood sugar level.
