    :deal

theres a reason Andre - while obviously now a 175lber - isnt wanting to enter that division

(2 reasons - Artur would Steamroll him too)

An in-form Ward would give Kovalev a boxing lesson.

How many hype jobs have beat Froch, Abraham, Kessler, Bika and Dawson?

I also said Mayweather would give Pac a boxing lesson. I was right about that too.

Lets see how Ward looks after a couple of fights. He is the more gifted fighter but being away for a year and a half hasnt helped him. If he is the same fighter he was I would pick him by decision. If he's lost a step than Sergay can take him.

exactly, Ward has been inactive thats his only problem, if gold medalist is a hype job then i dunno wtf a real good fighter is

nevertheless the inactivity can really hurt Ward against a pressure guy like Kova :boxing2

Ward is a better version of a 50 year old Hopkins

What he lacKs his Hopkins' granite chin

    Kovalev would brutally KO him

Exactly. Ward is a more athletic, younger version of Hopkins and may be the best inside fighter of our time. Kovalev has no idea what it is like to face someone like Ward. Ward has faced pressure fighters before and takes them to school. I like Kovalev but Ward is much more skilled than him and 9 times out of 10, the more skilled fighter will win.

Based on his last performance, I'd take Ward in that fight. I can't say it would be easy work though. Honestly, I think Stevenson gives Ward more problems.
