Well, since Wards boring UD of Rodriquez in 2013, Golovkin has knocked out the following in spectacular fashion: Monroe Jr. Murray Rubio Geale Stevens Macklin Adams Rosado Ishida
Someone that beats him would be my guess. Cisco hates Golovkin because he's a different colour from himself.....don't see him doing much hating on someone like Wilder's vastly inferior resume
Ok, I'm not arguing with your point, however, there is a huge difference between Hagler's situation and that of Bum-love-kin. Hagler wasn't the establishment fighter like the Triple Duck is. In fact, the establishment tried it's damnest to hinder Hagler. The Triple Duck, OTOH, has the backing of HBO. Even before Duran, Hagler had it tough - way tougher than the soft touches and TOMATO CANs Bum-love-kim has been fed lately. If Bum-love-kin had to come up like Marvin did, he'd have some Ls on his resume. So lets not sit here and pretend as if there is some legitimate comparisons to be made between Bum-love-kin's and Hagler's careers. There ISN'T.
He could fight Lara but, when Erislandy called him out, Bum-love-kin and his whole team caught a bad case of amnesia. Then there's the 168lb division. Isn't Bum-love-kin's team on record saying that the Triple Duck would fight 154-168? Well, we've seem him fight the 154lb'ers. When is he going to fight a 168lb guy?
That interview was from before Chavez quit against Fonfarra. Loeffler has since said that Chavez is now of no interest and not a consideration.
Lara is a more credible opponent than *any* of the TOMATO CANs currently on the Triple Duck's resume...
I realize Canelo gets winded but it looks to me like Golovkin does as well. I think Canelo can fight inside and really bother Gennady. He's accurate and has good power as well. I think he would be hit harder and more solidly than he ever has. I wonder what effect Canelo's punches would have if he hit GGG flush like Monroe did in a few of the rounds. Niether Canelo nor Golovkin have showed a lack of punch resistance. Be interesting to see which one's chin gave out first. When Monroe had his success and landed Golovkin became a lot less accurate and swung a bit wildly to my eyes. I know Golovkin has solid skills but I am not so sure they will hold up when he has a guy in his face who can keep him honest with their punching power.
Actually my apologies Cisco, I've confused you with your colleague cereal_monotony (presuming you're not the same guy). I'll delete my post about that.
Rumsfeld, Correct ****ysis of the whole situation in that video. Nice work. Two off-topic things: 1) Is "linear" really interchangeable with "lineal?" I noticed you refer to Cotto as the "linear" champ. Lineal = lineage, direct line of descent. I mean, "linear" makes sense too but isn't standard in boxing, right? 2) Gennady. Ge-nah-dee. Not Ge-nay-dee. I can't believe TV broadcasters get this wrong too.
