From his quality of opposition and the amount of times he's been officially knocked down (0), it's a no brainer to have him #1.

His chin has never failed him in 19 years, ever!! :deal

He's got a George Chuvalo, Hagler, Vitali, Jake Lamotta, McCall type chin.

    An elite level mandible.

He definitely did not get the genes of his father/Roger when it came to punch resistance. That I can say without doubt. :deal

Everyone you listed has a much better chin then floyd

It's possible to knock floyd out its just too hard to land on him

    1. No they don't, but they do have great mandibles

    2. No it isn't. :yep

It's never even come close to happening, how can you say it's possible? :huh

Because I've seen what happened the very few times people have connected clean with big shots :yep

He buckled slightly against Mosley in r2 but he still beat his ass for the rest of the round. :deal:deal

It was even worse in r3. Insane recovery too.

Slightly? He was holding on for dear life the 2 times he got hit flush in that fight by an ancient SSM.

But ya, he kicked SSM's ass the rest of the way because he's the better fighter and Shane was well past prime.

    No he wasn't!!!

After the 2nd punch, he backed to the ropes and was even throwing and fighting back.

After that he resumed kicking Mosley's ass.

Any other WW would have been knocked cold by those 2 bombs. :deal

19 years in the game, never dropped officially.

    Damn. :deal

Vitali was rattled by Corrie too, does that mean he does not have an iron chin? No!!

Mosley landed two big shots and nearly had floyd out. Mosley landed like 200-300 clean hard shots on margaritos chin until he stopped him. The difference is, mayweather never gets hit cleanly so you can't say his chin is granite.

He's been chinchecked so many times in his career, go revisit his career.

Difference is, even when they land on him, it usually has no effect.

His chin has never failed him in 19 years. That's inconceivable.

But Vitali has been hit with countless big shots because he was a defensive novice. Every time Floyd's been hit flush with a big shot he's been hurt. :deal

    No.. he hasn't. :patsch

He's been rattled once or twice, that's it.

Nowhere near getting knocked out or knocked down.

He's been knocked down by Zab :deal

Almost knocked out by Maidana and SSM. 100% record of being rattled by flush power punches. :deal

    1. No he wasn't, it was a slip and called as such

    2. Not even close! in either case!!

His legs wobbled slightly vs Maidana and he was rattled slightly by Mosley's two shots and easily came back and beat him up for the rest of the round. :patsch

    1. Ruslan Provodnikov (anyone who can take 300 shots from Lucas is not human!)
    2. Brandon Rios. (seems like you'd need a baseball bat to ever hurt him)
    3. Hopkins (was hurt yet still went the distance against Kovalev)
4.Mauricio Herrera (basically a smaller Rios, guys been hit with bombs)

The rest are up for grabs
