why would this do great numbers. marquez is over 40, from what i last heard, is still recovering from an injury, and was beat worse than pacquiao was.

I'd laugh if he fought Marquez in Sept and then rematched Pac in May.

Mexican independence day, both Pac's daddies.

A couple fighting for Pac's ownership.

    It would be great.

Lots of angles they can use to sell this big.

Marquez KO'ed Pacquiao. There's no competition. If Mayweather KO'ed Pacquiao then maybe we could be having this conversation. I mean, Mayweather didn't even knock Pac down...didn't even stun him? Marquez forever wins that battle. He's been in some WARS with Pacquiao.

Of course May couldn't, he had injured hands and he's 38.

But that aside, that isn't really the point.

The point is that May beat them both, very wide.

And we need a rematch between May and Marquez to settle things.

Marquez's manager claimed that he was not healthy the first time around and was fighting under unfair terms.

This time they have to settle the score, it is imperative.

2 of Pac's daddies fighting for little Pacquiao's ownership. It needs to be done. :deal

And this would do huge numbers on Mex independence day. A huge rematch for the ages.

Don't like seeing rematches of lop-sided fights

Mayweather didn't need to go to war... He just beat him 9-3 without breaking a sweat. Why go to war when you can handle things an easier way?

Because you have people paying 100$-100,000$ to watch you FIGHT in the "Fight of the Century"?

I wish they went in with the intent to kill each other, for pride, and bragging rights. Can you imagine if Mayweather went out wanting to knock out Pacquiao? And vice versa? It would have been so awesome.

I know that's not Floyd's style, but he used to fight a lot more aggressive believe it or not... I wish he would've brought it out a little bit...just for this fight at least! The biggest fight ever!!! It was such a disappointment. I would be embarrassed if I were them. There will be no books, movies, or anything to remember this fight. Everyone just wants to forget it.

If Floyd fought out of his element, then we wouldn't get the best Floyd, therefore the win wouldn't be a clashing of styles. The fight would be pointless.

We would never know who the better fighter is using their respective unique styles.

    2. Yeah right about the "everyone wants to forget about it" comment

Pacquiao fans are still watching the damn fight in SLO-MO. If anything, they want to prolong the pain as much as possible. :-:)patsch:rofl

It's like the bad wasn't **** enough, they want to watch it in slo-mo multiple times. :scaredas:

1.) That's not a very good reason to fight in a manner that might make you lose... I am paid to make sound financial decisions. If people showed up at my office and paid $100-$100,000 to watch me work for the day I would not choose to make risky and imprudent financial decisions simply to appease them.

2.) I can believe it because I, unlike you, was actually watching him when he fought that way.

3.) Floyd does not want to forget it and evidently his fans don't either.

So it's completely justified for Pac to fight him but when Floyd fights him, it's one of the worst fights that could be made. :patsch:lol:

    Pac****s man... they're something else.

Well, he used to be good. Now he's a blown up little man with one foot in the grave.
