Why cos he didn't stand there to get smashed? He got outboxed. Froch should have also had points taken for holding and hitting, hitting on the break and rabbit punches. I like Froch but he was gifted this one.
Froch nuthugged Floyd Mayweather for exactly the same tactics. If he was consistent then surely Mayweather is a coward aswell for not "coming to fight"? I thought being hard to hit "was not what fighting/boxing was all about" Carl? Dirrell tries to win a boxing match without taking alot of punishment and thats the cowards way according to Carl. Andre Ward schools him and Ward is a coward who won't engage in a proper dust up. Floyd does it and Froch is creaming his pants. Playing the Sky puppet though, he obviously got the memo from Adam Smith to talk it up. His cringey performance in the build up alongside a naturally charasmatic Paulie Maglinaggi was also quite funny. The look of insecurity on his face at not being sure if he was the best man on set was hilarious.
