Ok so we're not talking Froch-GGG anymore, are we? Unless you think Carl is actually shot...

It wouldn't even out, it just modifies the gameplan.

I also think Golovkin has the power to drop Froch, with Froch's awful defence it's almost inevitable but keeping Froch down is the big problem Golovkin will have.

Also Golovkin will be there to be hit as well. He may land on Froch but Froch will also land big shots on Golovkin, especially that uppercut from range Froch likes to throw. We've seen Froch grind his opponents down time and again and he could do the same to Golovkin.

You really think Froch will take this fight? Froch is too afraid to the the degale fight at this point he vacated his belt. He wants an easy payday to finish off anf he deserves it shame he couldnt get hold of chavez when he had the chance.

It'd still be a great win for either man though.

Froch is the last fighter anyone should say is afraid considering how he has always fought the best, even giving away home advantage.

What he is, is unmotivated. He's 37, made a ton of money, his legacy is secure, not fought for a year and about to have a 3rd child. His focus has moved beyond boxing, he's basically retired but just hasn't made it official yet.

I honestly think froch would stop GGG on his feet he gets hit clean too often by 160 fighters and froch has decent power at 168 and a high workrate he is too big for ggg

This is a bad fight for GGG. you don't just up to fight the most dominant champion of the weight class, you need to ease into the weight by fighting low level opposition like Smith for instance.

I have faith in GGG but he will be shocked when he sees just how tough Froch is. He looks like he has no technique but he makes up for it with awkward fighting style, amazing stamina, great chin and a solid punch. Froch is a B+ puncher at 168, GGG is an A+ puncher at 160, I have a sneaking suspicion that the A+ won't carry over to the next division...

This is a tough fight for both of them especially GGG. GGG is smaller than froch and would be losing power at a bigger weight. I would not be surprised froch stops him

It would be interesting to get Groves' take on this potential fight, Fought Froch twice and sparred with GGG. And according to some reports the sparring was tasty.

I know Groves hates all things Froch but his opinion would be worth a listen.

If it happens I think GGG would win, A couple of years ago Froch would favourite in my opinion but now Froch seems almost uninterested in fighting to me, if you are thinking about retiring then get out.

If they are going to put the fight on in the UK it would need to be no later than August 29th as college football starts after that weekend and they will lose huge viewership for a late afternoon fight in the States.

Time for Carl to get knocked out by a different GG in front of 80,000 fans at Wembley stadium.
