Froch will take the fight. I can't believe some here are questioning his heart.

Exactly people who think this will be a cakewalk for GGG are crazy. Froch is the real deal. Also we have no idea if GGG's power will carry to 168. I would be shocked if he hits any harder than Kessler did at 168.

I don't think he's caving but he really doesn't have many options left at 160. He's finally starting to realize that the big names in Cotto and Canelo won't fight him anytime soon at 160 so he's willing to move for big names at 168. Hell he already showed you this when he was willing to face JCC Jr there. I applaud GGG for this.

Carl will knock GGG out of the ring. It will be a huge money fight.

This could be the fight that brings GGG into the elite circuit. It's definitely a bold move but let's not forget that George Groves outboxed Froch twice (before getting dropped) and GGG clearly has a much stronger chin than him and is also a better fighter.

If he does manage to beat Froch then there are a lot of decent fights awaiting him at 168. I agree with Peril that he should ideally test himself against a lower ranked SMW before going for Froch, but if he is going all out then there will be many big fights to follow.

Will Froch take this? To his credit, he takes all comers and is not known to duck. Also, like Pimp C said he is starting to run out of options.

GGG is not the unknown no-namer he was one year ago. He is making a name for himself and GGG-Froch will sell a lot of tickets. It will be one of the biggest fights of whichever year it happens in.

PS: I predict GGG outpoints Carl and calls him a good boy

Eddie Hearn: ‘I’ve now spoken with Carl directly about this and he is interested. I only want him to take it if he’s genuinely motivated because it is a high-risk fight.

‘But it would be massive and we can fill Wembley again. Given Carl’s interest, we have already opened negotiations with Golovkin’s people and they are very keen.’

the morons calling him Triple Duck can shut your stupid mouths now.

Only fools called him a duck. He was being ducked and frozen out. I'm glad that he's finally realized it and moving on.

Froch is old and inactive. That a recipe for disaster he will have trouble making the weight, his legendary endurance will suffer and he will get his azz KOed late. As a fan of Golovkin that's good but I'm Froch fan too so I don't know.

Sounds good. I've already got respect for both of these fighters, and it would increase even further if they make this fight because everyone else is dodging them at the moment.

GGG isn't wasting his time , it's only been a week since his win and he is already looking ahead.

    Not his heart, his motivation
