Breaking on the Daily Mail website that Hearn is involved in negotiations with Loeffler and HBO about Gennady coming to England to take on the international superstar. The most excited I've been about a potential fight for a while. Would be great to see a potential all-time great on these shores after years of Brits beating up foreign journeymen here.

That'd be massive if true but can't see Carl taking such a big chance at this stage of his career. Imagine if he got knocked out in front of thousands of people? I'm not sure his ego could take it.

Wembley is being mooted and I didn't go last time. GGG might knock him out in front of 80,001 people.

Let's face it, Froch absolutely loves the Queens shilling, and there's nobody else around as a potential opponent for Carl who has the full backing of America's biggest subscription channel. HBO have built Golovkin up for almost 3 years now, this could well be PPV both here and in America. One PPV show that Eddie Hearn would be safe to go on Twitter for feedback on ha ha!

It depends if Froch has become an old or shot fighter to how this is going to go. Froch has decent power also, GGG may not shake off Froch's power.

He does love a pound note and it would be a massive scalp for his legacy if he pulled it off despite his size advantage. I fear he may think this is Bute part 2 when GGG is IMO a far more dangerous opponent.

    Why not?
I've watched quite a few of froch's and golovkins fights recently and I have to say ggg could well be the man to stop froch in the 1st round

I think this is a bad move for Carl, ggg's is all wrong for him!

Hang'em up Carl, you've done well and given us some great fights

Calm down. Froch will be the much bigger man and by far the best fighter GGG has fought as a pro. Lots of people will pick Froch in this match up and with good reason.

Froch always starts of slow, checkout his 1st rounds with the likes of taylor, pascal, bute, groves.

Groves almost had him out of there in the 1st, I reckon ggg will stop froch in the 1st
